Citric Acid 1 Gallon

Love this stuff for cleaning my washing machine bin. This is the first time I’ve bought this brand, but IMO most citric acid powders are the same? Either way, it works really well and cleans the gunk out! I was having issues with scrud coming off onto my clothes and it was really frustrating me. I tried cleaning out my washing bin with hot water cycles and vinegar, using washing machine cleaning tablets in the cleaning cycles (I still do) and that helps. BUT, the citric acid IMO, is a game changer. I also stopped using cold water washing cycles and use warm to hot on my laundry and have severely decreased the amount of soap and detergents. I make sure to do more cleaning cycles between loads and that has helped get rid of the scrud. The value of the CA is really good, it lasts me a bit, the consistency is what you’d expect. Dump it in and close your lid though, bc if that stuff gets up your nose it will make you sneeze! lol!!

I didn't believe it. But it works. I put a cup in my toilet tank, let it sit for an hour or two, and it is cleaner than it's ever been. Hard water stains gone. I'm impressed

This is the toilet cleaner that you need when nothing else will get rid of funk. We purchased a home that I don’t think they ever cleaned the toilet and I literally thought I met my match, but I didn’t thanks to this product.

Great household item to clean.

The item was leaking - the plastic bag holding the brown paper bag of citric acid has a lot of spillage in it, which was annoying. I knocked off a star, wanted to knock off more due to the annoyance factor but didn’t as it wasn’t the manufacturer’s fault, although maybe more rugged packaging would be better.

This was one of the best prices I found after looking around at the big box and other stores. My rental unit is in need of some very serious cleanup, so this was one of the many projects on my list. My toilet would have black streaks running down into the toilet bowl after flushing. After cleaning the bowl several timed and doing some research, I found a possible solution to the problem--the dirty toilet tank. Yes, the tank needed some help. This was an excellent cleaning agent to clean the toilet tank. Drained out the water from the tank (shutting off water supply), then mixed a solution (1/2 cup of citric acid with about a gallon or so of hot water just enough to replace what was drained) then added to an emptied, rusted, dirty toilet tank. Let the solution sit in the tank overnight. Turned on the water supply and flushed. No more streaks of black, so far and the tank is a wow 90% cleaner. Will repeat in a few weeks.

I bought this for cleaning hard water stains off porcelain. I am not disappointed. I did have to make a paste and let it sit for a while, but after that the stains came off easily.

Overlooked, inexpensive, multipurpose chemical that descales my coffee maker and degunks my front load washer and dishwasher. Also deodorizes and softens clothes when diluted and placed in the fabric softener cup. I've even used it to 'brighten' recipes and make pickles and sour candies. Great to keep fruit/vegs from browning while prepping. It removes rust and bath/shower scum! Just don't mix it with bleach or ammonia and never use it on real stone surfaces.
