For electrical work, you don't want your insulating tape to EVER fail. Adhesion, seemingly infinite life, stretchable to conform to wires and terminals are all assured in my mind based on experience. I've also used it for non-electrical tasks for patching, holding, color coding and labeling, because it holds up, and when you remove it, it does not leave an adhesive residue. Cheap electrical tape is a false economy. Pay the extra buck or so. Be well,

I bought this to mark the tools in the tool kits for my (multiple) motorcycles. I have found when doing roadside/trail maintenance or repairs it is very easy to lose tools on the ground. A circumferential piece of yellow tape makes them very easy to spot... also marks your territory when someone else borrow/uses any of your tools. I buy the Scotch brand as it seem to have the strongest, longest lasting adhesion and the yellow does not noticeably fade over the years.

Have a vacuum cleaner with a yellow cord, that was damaged - this tape worked perfectly for the repair. You can hardly notice the patch on the cord. 3M makes the best tapes. I would definitely buy this product again in other colors.

Aside from electrical uses, I use this for marking the handles of my tools, backpack, suitcases, Yetis and expensive cables. It prevents mishaps when other people accidentally claim ownership of my good gear ;) it’s easy to prove the correct owner by showing the yellow marking that I have on the items. This tape has the right amount of stretch, strength and opacity. I use a lot of it. I just wish that it was sold at the pre-Covid price.

Very fast shipping. 3M tape is good stuff. You are paying about $2 more than Home Depot or Lowe’s. But it’s worth it for the convenience of Amazon fulfillment.

So of all the things to use electrical tape for - I used it to apply numbers to the backs of polo shirts... And it worked perfectly! No residue left behind when we pulled the numbers off and the tape stayed out for an entire 10 hour day!

un peu long pour faire effet, mais plus une seule fourmis dans ma cuisine .. j’étais envahie cet été, même depuis mars 2016 de fourmis .. j'ai tenté des pâtes anti fourmis ,, rien, des astuces naturelles .. marche pas .. la, elles ont mis le temps pour aller dedans, il faut tout nettoyer parfaitement, je leur ai interdit le placard a bouffe, élément en hauteur, en traçant un trait de craie juste en dessous .. du coup, elles sont allée dans la boite, et, le temps que ça fasse effet, plus une fourmis .. donc satisfaite ..

It is definitely expensive than your hardware store ones, but the quality and handling makes you never go back. The tape is thicker and stronger.
