Reactive Sling Shot Mark Bell Bench Press, Dips, and Push Ups – (Level 2 Tension)

Great product, but what else can you expect from Mark Bell? I use this to regress my push-ups after recovering from two surgeries and it is great for that. If you've every used a band under you for assisted push-ups it works much the same and is much better than doing knee push-ups, which change the geometry of the movement. I have not tried it for bench press yet. Yes the logo starts to stretch out as soon as you use it, I don't care. The only thing I will say is that it is VERY snug on my arms. I am a 140lb 5'7" female and my arms almost don't fit in the small/medium. In fact if I were lifting as much as I was pre-surgery, I bet they wouldn't fit.

I love it but have to return it because it is too small for me. Unfortunately, Amazon doesn't have the next size up, so I will purchase directly from the source. But this is an amazing item.

good piece of equipment for when your injured or for overload

For weeks it seems that I had stalled in my push-up progressions when I saw MobilityWOD KStar recommend this for "junky shoulders". I ordered one and have been using it for about a month. It has helped me perfect my push-up form (Keeping elbow over wrist and elbow close to my sides). I hope to use it enough to develop that muscle memory (I train on my own, so no one there to tell me when my form starts going to crap). My left shoulder doesnt hurt like it used to, and the other day, I managed to crank out 200+pushups (in sets, of course) but nonetheless, I wouldn't have been able to hold up my left arm to type this if I hadnt used the Slingshot during that workout... I think that It's a great tool to help you if you are stalled in a press type exercise

Basically you can do negatives without a spotter. Band slips off though sometimes and then you’re screwed

This is such a great training tool. You can almost describe it as training wheels for bench. It really does help correct your form, and it gives a newbie lifter an immediate understanding of how important elbow placement is. It does give a little pop off the chest the way a bench shirt would. My wife is 125 lbs and she used this size and first day hit her 1rep max for 10. At 50 bucks this is an awesome deal for a brilliant invention.
