I have been using this toilet seat for a few months now and appreciate it more each day. It was very easy to install and holds firmly in place once the bolts are tightened. I never realized what a difference a slow close lid would make. There is no noise at all as the lid slowly closes. Everything is included to attach to an existing toilet. The seat is well made, easy to clean and a lighter weight than the seat that was replaced (a nice bonus). The color and shape were a perfect fit. This is a great value from a reliable brand like Kohler.

I like it — it looks good, fits very securely, and I like the feel of the plastic. At first, during the “soft close,” it made a repeating creaking sound that lasted about 20 seconds as the lid closed. But moving the lid up and down seemed to loosen it up, and made the creaking go away. And now it works perfectly.

Had a bunch of construction workers in my house who were comfortably using my toilet and sadly slamming the seat and while it wasn’t new, it had never chipped and it started to just chip chip chip, so I measured twice and ordered once this thing is great not a cushy tushy seat but super sleek bright and brand new slow close seat will not allow for anymore slamming and chipping

This is a nice, sleek looking toilet seat. It was easy to install and fit as expected. Not as sturdy as my old painted wood seat but it works!

This fell apart in less than a month of use! Don’t buy! I bought this a little a month ago, installed it day 2 weeks ago or so and it’s fallen apart already! It’s not even a bathroom that’s shared but in the basement that’s rarely used. The little mounts they have on the side keep going inside and no way you can have them spring back to hold the cover. Waste of money for sure!

I bought my house not that long ago..2 going on 3 years. The builders obviously do what they do and "cut" corners. The toilet base in itself was never the issue but the white painted wood toilet seats.. yes I said wood toilet seats were atrocious. They were so difficult to maintain a good clean.. no amount of cleaning could save those from eventually smell and staining. So I decided to finally replace them with a MUCH more sanitary and easier maintenence option. I bought 2 of these toilet seats one for each bathroom and not only was the install super easy, they match perfectly color and size wise. Definitely soft close lid - which is great in the middle of the night lol. I'm glad it) made the switch. Well worth it.

Super easy to install toilet seat that is light and sturdy. The last slow close I bought was a Mayfair and it broke. I trust the Kohler brand and have high hopes. The cost was also reasonable too. The seat is comfortable and the smooth surface is easy to clean.
