My toner stopped working after a month.I replaced the batter.it still will not detect any of the toners.advice ????

This is cheaply made mine did that took it apart and the connector to nipple broke off inside piece of junk

Instructions for toning are incomplete - do I need a separate tool to detect tone?

No, you don’t need a separate tool for toning. The tone will be successful if the cable is in working order.

What to use to test that coax is "working" and the new connector is on correctly?

Follow the instructions and work well

I wanted to know if I can buy replacement tips for this toner??

I think u can but I had a customer come with a set of 4 tips from another technician left behind that I don't no from what type of toner they where and they worked
