Magnetic Water Softener - No Salt Water Softener - Magnet Water Treatment

This product was exactly what we hoped for. We live in northeast Ohio and the water here is horrible for mineral deposits. Me and my wife couldn't stand to even shower because how our skin felt and smelled right out of the shower. We currently rent and installing a high cost water softner wasn't an option. The landlord didn't want to pay to install one either so we needed a cost affective solution. I figure for 58 bucks even if it didn't work we didn't spend much on it to begin with. After 8 days we saw a HUGE improvement. We both noticed a difference in the shower. We no longer needed to use bottled water to brush our teeth. The water spots on the dishes continue to decline day by day. About a month later if we find any mineral deposits on anything we just wash them off or wipe them off with a soft cloth or paper towel. Have already recommended this product to our neighbors and even the landlord. She was so impressed she was going to buy one and even offered to reimberse us for putting one in the house! If your hesitate on trying this, don't be. Although I am handy around the house, if you can use 2 zip ties you can put this on in a matter of 3-5 minutes. Just clamps right onto your main water pipe. Well worth the small investment!

I have a commercial Bunn coffee maker. I have to clean it every 15 days when the flow becomes a trickle. Very accurate and regular. I installed these 3 weeks ago, and the coffee maker slowed to a trickle in 18 days. I don't have much faith that future results will be any better. I was also surprised that the magnets weren't stronger. Don't know their reasoning, but whatever the case, they seem to produce only a minimal change in lime buildup.

I ordered this to replace an old clamp on set that I used for years and this wasn't as strong and the magnets attracted each other. For these to work you need the magnets to oppose each other NOT attract each other the same way you would demagnetize a screw driver. These would only attract any iron deposits in water and create a clog and will do nothing to stop calcium and lime deposits.

It really works. My water is really hard. Since I installed the Magnetic Water Softener my water pressure is better and the hot water heater works better. Sounds crazy but it works!

We are in a hard water part of the Midwest. Many houses have water softeners, but we did not want to spend the money and haul bags of salt. And we don't like the taste of softened water. On the other hand, with no water softener, the massive deposits of white minerals on dishes fresh out of our brand new dishwasher were a big disappointment and frustration.We got the magnets, and at about the same time started using white vinegar (the cheap stuff) as a rinse liquid additive in our dishwasher. The liquid additive level is adjustable, and we set it on the highest setting. One minor problem with vinegar - we have no idea when it runs out, as it is colorless. Just need to refill every so often.There is one more complication to identifying if the magnets work- our city water comes partially softened. We moved in to the house at the dry part of the summer, when city softening had been reduced due to a drought. On the whole, we are happy with the choice to get magnets instead of a softener.

Easy to install and the magnets actually do something to the water that greatly lessens water spots and the sinks are much easier to clean.

This did not install well at all, so I do not know if it would have worked or not. Magnets were very weak and did not hold on a 3/4" copper pipe, even without the foam tubing.

I needed something to remove sulfer from water & this was not it.
