ElekTek ES E27 Batten Lamp Bulb Holder with Plain Skirt Ideal for Vintage Filament Bulbs Nickel

I needed an ES lamp fittings with an industrial or retro style. It comes in 3 parts. A base, insulated ES screw threaded inner, and a securing ring. These were well made and looked the part. Wiring up was relatively simple as the insulated screw threaded inner was removed and wired first, then assembled into the base and clamped with the securing ring. There is an earth terminal in the insulated inner. It needs a bit of force to push the insulated inner into the base first time as it has a strong earth spring on the side, to ensure good earth contact with the base. Once assembled though you are assured that the whole assembly is well earthed. I'll be using these fittings on my next lamp project.

Great well made and sturdy holder. A little fiddly to wire up at first but once that was sorted it became easier for the others. Would recommend and use again.
