Just about fits our five year old Lurcher. He seems to find it nice and comfy though it could do with the door being an inch taller. This certainly doesn't stop him using it, though. We've had this for some time now and have found it very robust, easy to assemble and take down and very easy to transport when folded. The opening top makes it easy put the vacuum cleaner in!

This was perfect for our dogs first holiday...easy to assemble, sturdy and lightweight fitted perfectly in the back of our car. It was big enough to fit his dog bed and toys in. Very happy with the purchase.

Arrived on time and good quality with sturdy zips

After looking at some eye-wateringly expensive custom dog boxes for our XL-breed puppy, we decided to give this a go. She’d outgrown 2 airline-style crates by 6months and was not going to be comfortable crammed into the Ferplast Atlas 40 on a long road trip. It has proven to be a great choice for us. Pros: the frame is sturdy and coated metal, not plastic. It’s also easy to assemble and lightweight, so very handy to move into and out of our car boot when I need the space for groceries. Or when staying away, we’ve brought it into the hotel room or holiday cottage as her crate. She’s comfortable enough to snore away for hours in it, and it has not warped or bent. The handles are useful, because though it’s lightweight, at this size it’s awkward, especially carrying it through doors. I was worried about the mesh as our dog has long, very strong claws (see photo) and can really scratch at the front of a crate in excitement when she’s about to be let out. But so far, it’s held up extremely well!! That’s after 2 roadtrips and near daily use. She’s now 7 months, 25+Kg , quite long for a mastiff, and still growing. Lots of space for her, this should see her into adult size. Cons: none really, although be aware that if you have a hatchback shaped car, this may be too tall to fit. For reference, it fits in my BMW iX3 with plenty of room on top and enough on the sides for a narrow bag or 2. But it will not fit in my husband’s BMW 3 series GT. Cushion: we found the 3peaks Medium size cushion (bought elsewhere) is the perfect fit for for this XL crate. (See photo). Definitely the M, the L was too large. Hope this helps.

Very easy to assemble, sturdy bit of kit and our Harper loves it, he’s a medium sized Border Collie!

Really love the design, size and general quality of this crate but the zip will always be targeted by teething puppies. If looking for something to use as an everyday crate at home I would suggest going for a metal one. This crate would be ideal for travelling with but the zip is now so badly chewed and damaged that it's impossible to close the mesh flap. Also found chewed lengths of metal in his pen which could be potentially dangerous if swallowed. If there was a way to make this crate (especially the mesh flap/zip sections) puppy proof it would score 5 out of 5.

Bought this at the last minute to take on holiday instead of our large metal crate, as we were tight for space. Can't recommend it enough. Strong, easy to put up and down and is light weight. We have a West Highland Terrier, 9kg and this was perfect for him. Just note, you do need an additional mattress for your furry friend to lie on, the one from our Kong crate fitted nicely and was something familiar for him to smooth the transition.
