Chatfield's Carob Chips 12oz

These carob chips are delicious. I plan to use them in non-dairy brown rice flour cookies. I believe they will work out really well.

I bake with only carob chips as I can not eat chocolate. I sub these for all my chocolate chip recipes and serve them and no one can tell the difference. A really good product.

Needed a substitute for chocolate chips, the cookies were delicious & my family wasn't even aware of the change.

Beware - do not order these in the summer months -- I received just one giant melted lump. However, that being said, I simply put in int he fridge and just broke it up into pieces. The taste is good. So is texture. I will reorder again, but in the winter months. I had such a hard time finding these locally (I am allergic to chocolate).

This is a must have ingredient if you have family with chocolate allergies.

When I have ordered this product it takes forever for delivery and today it showed up completely melted into a solid block. Product is too sweet and takes away from the chocolatey taste. Been buying cause the price but I’m going to start spending more for a better product. You get what you pay for.

These are the best carob chips I’ve found, and the only brand I’ll buy.

I bought them because close up of package on Amazon said chips were made with beet sugar, but the package I got just said sugar is listed as the first ingredient. The taste is super sweet without any carob flavor. I would have preferred Stevia or any other plant based sweetener. There are much better carob chips on Amazon that have carob powder as 1st ingredient and coconut sugar as third. I cannot recommend these because they don't taste yummy at all.

Item listed 3 pack and I only received 1. It also stated that it was made with beet sugar. But when I received the package it just lists regular cane sugar. Very deceptive.
