Basic Pull String Alarm for Fall Prevention and Anti-Wandering by Smart Caregiver - BPS-01

I am not exaggerating, this product has saved my grandmothers life countless times. She unfortunately has severe dementia paired with mobility issues. She often forgets to use her call button and tries to get out of bed herself, which caused an awful fall last year. Before finding this product we were taking turns sleeping on a couch near her bed to make sure she didn’t sneak out and accidentally fall at night again. This product gives us peace of mind and restful sleep knowing we will be alerted when she’s on the move. It’s plenty loud even in our two story home. Only wish we knew about it sooner so that we could’ve prevented the first fall. This is amazing, buy it.

Excellent investment to keep my grandma safe. I have purchased this that clips to her shirt and will go off when she tries to get up. I also purchased a bed alarm as well. Neat way to keep our loved ones safe!

Purchased for my mom's wheelchair. It works well. Just clip it to the chair and the other clips to her. If she moves, an alarm with sound. Very helpful

The alarm came promptly and seemed to work, but not well. First off, there is a hi-lo volume switch in the battery compartment. The round thing on the front is not the volume, but rather the speaker. The first thing I noticed about the unit is that the alarm, when the magnet is pulled off, is not very loud. If you don't get too far away, it will work fine. I needed it to work about 50 feet away and it just wasn't audible. The second thing that was disappointing was the length of the string. Its only about a a foot long. That is hardly long enough for the patient to lean forward or change position in the chair. I think the same company offers a wireless version that might work better. If you need to be able to hear it from more than a few feet away, the wireless version might be better. Lastly, the alarm came with a wrist strap with a buckle on it. Except that the buckle doesn't buckle right. Considering the price, I have decided not to return this alarm, but instead try to re-engineer it and maybe put a bigger speaker and a longer string on it.

I got the Basic Pull String Emergency device for my grandma, and it’s been a game-changer. It’s super simple to use—just clip it to her clothes, and if she pulls the cord, it alerts me instantly. The alarm is loud enough to hear across the house, which gives me peace of mind. It’s affordable, easy to set up, and helps keep her safe. Only downside is the string could be a bit longer, but it works well overall

Worked great for my grandmother. She has dementia and recently had hip surgery. She forgets she had surgery. Then tries to get out of bed at night and walk to the bathroom. This alarm is loud and easy to use.

I am so glad i purchased this i use it for my husband he has MS and dementia ..he thinks he can walk but he cant.,he tries to get out of wheelchair or bed now alarm goes off no more falling for him ..works very well alarm has settings softer med or loud Very pleased with it ...i would recommend !
