worry about the bash and grab theft. tons of that , brazen broad daylight. this slows a thief down, ran it through the seat bottom, and tie my computer into the car. maybe catch a meth head some day. daughter got her entire car with all her surf gear stolen last week. argghhh.

The lock does exactly what it's suppose to do. The lock engages and disengages the security slot easily. There's about 5 feet+ cable length allowing for attachment to a desk, or other secure points, with mobility. This lock is for laptops with a wedge type security slot. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase.

Does not fit a new Dell laptop as advertised.

It can be difficult some days to get the lock to click into place to secure the laptop. The cable itself is very sturdy and was easy to install.

I have looked far and wide for a lock that fits in my Dell XPS 15 laptop. I thought this would be it... it's not. It chews the inside of the hole because its slightly too large, although it is the "type" of lock that is supposed to fit in XPS. Almost never actually able to get it into my laptop.

Price is good and works for the new locking format on my work Dell Latitude laptop.

Don't Bother..lock already not working...key won't come out when tried to unlock. Waste of money
