DEWALT ATOMIC 20V MAX* Cordless Drill/Driver Kit, Compact, 1/2-Inch (DCD708C2)

My new Go To screwdriver! I love it. Holds a charge for the entire job and then the next job and the next... You get the idea. Great tool at a great price. Definitely worth the money. Light weight and easy to use. Smaller than my last DeWalt my repair man dropped off a ladder and then hid from me. (Grrrrrrrrr). Plenty of power for all my jobs. It can do everything I need it to do.

What can you say about Dewalt tools other than they work, sometimes in the most trying conditions. This Atomic 20v Drill is an incredibly handy little drill, much like its cousin the 20v impact driver. Both are constantly used. In my case, building animal pens. If you have smaller hands, you're golden, larger hands no issues of course. It's incredibly light with a 2 hour battery and can get into some small spaces when needed. I've never had any issues with power. If you're drilling railroad ties, then yeah, maybe something with a little more power. If you're a homeowner with tasks around the house, you seriously can't go wrong with it, it's a stellar piece of kit.

This is my 3rd Dewalt drill. 2 cordless and 1 heavy-duty plug-in. My Dewalt XRB has been a piece of garbage since day I got it. Very expensive and batteries never lasted more than 5-10 minutes. Reached out to Dewalt several times with no luck about how terrible it was. They then stopped making batteries for it and they sent me email saying to get generics. They were garbage too. SO - Now to this new DEWALT 20V MAX* Cordless Drill / Driver Kit, Compact, 1/2-Inch (DCD708C2). It is absolutely fantastic! Tons of power. Tons of torque. Batteries last a LONG time. In fact I just built 4 10' sections of fence with 1 battery! The chuck is a ratchet type and is great. Has a bult-in work lite, however, it stays on for 20 seconds after you are done, which I don't like much. Wow! I was very hesitant to purchase this DEWALT 20V MAX* Cordless Drill / Driver Kit, Compact, 1/2-Inch (DCD708C2), but after doing lots of research decided to give Dewalt another try. Glad I did. My faith has been restored after the horrible XRB fiasco. One thing - they are no longer made in USA (for some time now). Only possible negative is the soft case that comes with it does not seem to be that tough. Should have came with a "good" solid hard case for the price.

This is my drill set, not my husbands. I got tired of running around searching for one when I needed one, so I purchased my own. I love it. It holds a charge for an extremely long time and works perfect for around the house and my craft projects. My daughter bought one also, seeing I love mine.

The drill good lots of power ,the bag is very cheap already falling apart at only 25 days in with hardly any use , flimsy , ,,and the charger should change should have incorporated a green light option when fully charged

After almost 6 years since I purchased this drill, it has held up well. I recently purchased a house and have been using it a great deal more lately compared to when I was in an apartment. For both my house and apartment, I have used it to mainly drill out holes for anchors, , putting together furniture, cleaning, and boring out holes in metal. Still holding strong and has been a great purchase. It doesn't have the power like many have suggested but has been great for home use. Only negative thing I can say is that the seams by the zipper on the carrying bag (very small area) started to come undone but other than that, no complaints.

I'm very happy with my purchase. I needed a drill to use at home for DIY projects. I had a difficult time deciding between less expensive drills and this one. I am so glad I chose this DEWALT cordless drill. I have only used it a few times but so far I am very impressed. It is a great quality drill. It comes with two batteries. It is compact but powerful. The light is a nice feature. I made the right decision by spending a little extra $ to get a great quality product that is still a good value.

Me ha parecido una herramienta muy práctica. Ya le he usado muchas veces y ha trabajado sin problemas. A pesar que no es rotomartillo, he podido taladrar paredes para colocar taquetes y para pasar tubería de lado a lado. Me pareció una muy buena inversión y la compré más barata que en tiendas especializadas. Me llegó antes de lo indicado inicialmente. Muy buena compra!!

Pour divers raisons qui ne demande pas une extension électrique. cela fait une éternité que je songeais avoir un outil a piles rechargeable. Oui évidemment, mais je dois envisager d'acheter un chargeur supplémentaire, pour éviter de perte de temps. Que j'ai plus réalisé.

20% discount but handling fee! You'll need a 3 pin Uk step down transformer as the charger is 120V thats +£20! Better off Screwfix or B&Q or other! At least you won't have to wait 2 weeks for it! It'll work out cheaper😒 It is a good tool though!👍
