The visor has a lip on it where you can easily lift it up and it will stay in place at a few different heights.

how many vents does this helmet have, and can you close some of them?

There is one vent near the chin area and two at the top, didn't have fogging issues even with the vents closed. Light weight, comfortable helmet with good airflow.
