Mattel Ever After High C.A. Cupid Doll

C.A. Cupid is just lovely. She has cute pink bubblegum hair, a gorgeous dress, and beautifully detailed accessories. The box that she comes in looks like a storybook and has details about Cupid on the back. Cupid is pretty easy to remove. In the box you get the doll in her dress with a plastic belt, heart and arrow headband, fishnet tights, winged shoes, and wings that attach around her neck. She also has black heart earrings, a black arrow ring, gold bracelet, a golden bow, and quiver of arrows. There is also a black hairbrush and doll stand, and a bookmark that folds out and has a little story. I love all the little details on her. The heart shine marks on her eyes are just lovely. Her dress has a lovely arrow pattern on the skirt. Her wings are so gorgeous. With the exception of her bracelet, there is no need to remove any body parts to change her clothes. Her bow has a spot to slide her hand into so she can "hold" it. Her joints bend and move easily. There are no flaws in her face paint. Things that bother me: Her wings are only painted on the front side. Box hair, Never have I gotten a EAH doll that didn't have box hair. Her quiver of arrows doesn't really stay on her shoulder well, and if her wings are on not at all. Her belt and wings make it impossible to clip her in her stand at the waist, Ive found putting her feet together and clipping around her knees works well though. Overall she is so pretty and I recommend her. Her details are well thought out and executed. I love having her as part of my collection and can't wait for my Ever After High collection to grow.

Cupid is a myth – not a fairytale – and her purpose is to help others find love. C.A. Cupid has made the jump from a minor Monster High character to an Ever After High Rebel – and I am so glad she did. This doll is a beautiful addition to the EAH lineup. Cupid is all about pink, and her other colors are white, bronze and black. Cupid has bright turquoise blue eyes that are enhanced by her metallic pink eye makeup and long lashes. A cute detail she has is that her eyes also have white heart-shaped highlights. Her lips are pale pink with a darker pink heart painted on the middle. Her long, curled pink hair and curled bangs are the same bright pink shade as her MH version, and the pink shade is quite a bit more intense than it appears in the promotional photo. Her styling and expression are very sweet and less severe than the MH version. Cupid is a darling. Cupid is the daughter of Eros, the winged god of love, so feather and heart details abound. Her dress has a pink halter top with little metallic bronze wing cap details over her shoulders. The skirt of her dress is a print of pink sky and white clouds overlaid with metallic pink heart tipped arrows. The skirt is trimmed in black lace, and the top and front of the dress have a transparent bronze net apron. Cupid also wears black fishnet stockings and gold winged high heel shoes. Cupid has many accessories, but the best are her removable wings. The wings are white with bronze antiquing to bring out the pattern of the feathers. The wings hang from the back of her neck by a collar that is shaped like an arrow. Cupid holds her bronze bow and filigree covered quiver of arrows. She wears black heart shaped earrings, a feather bracelet, black arrow ring, bronze and black feather belt, and a bronze headband with a pink heart and arrow decoration. Cupid comes with a doll stand, key shaped hair brush and fold out “bookmark” bio with details of her story. Cupid is fully jointed, and can be posed multiple ways for play or display. Cupid is made for gentle play and has several small parts that could be damaged or lost if care is not taken with her. She comes in the usual amazing EAH packaging that is styled to look like a storybook and displays her tagline, “Loves a Happily Ever After”. Cupid is a beautiful fashion doll that will be loved by Ever After High and Monster High fans alike.

Ever after high C.A Cupid is a wonderful doll, and I really like how the pink really stands out. The problem is her hair, it is not greasy but it is sometimes hard to brush. She comes with a key {which is a brush}, a bow, a bookmark and a gold quiver. And the wings can come off. Her outfit is stunning and is a bright pink. Pros Is a cheap doll {Price wise} Very good play value No eye defects Cons Hands come off { don't worry they come back on, but comes off a lot} Hair is hard to manage

I had wanted to have this doll for quite sometime. But the price is just ridiculous, so I decided to be patient. She is so beautiful, every adult collector should have her on their collection. Since price of her character in Monster High has sky rocketed that's impossible for a doll collector on a budget to afford it. She comes in her original box with a very slight damage but the doll is intact and so is her accessories ( this might be a returned item). It doesn't matter paying less than 18 bucks I have a beautiful doll and still be on the budget. I will surely buy some more as this sites is a place to be for a doll collector on a budget.

C A Cupid is a beautiful doll, my only criticism is that when you take her out of the box her hair is horrible (due to the way it is packaged as in the box it is styled above her head) For me this isn't a major issue as I always restyle my dolls hair but for anyone who doesn't it would be a rather big negative. Other than that she has some great features like her bow and arrow, her beautiful wings and her lipstick. I love this adaptation from her MH doll form as she has more of a goddess look about her and the dull gold colour with the pink really stands out.

As usual, Mattel delivered a very good doll to the Ever After High line. I totally love this doll. I grew to love her ever since Monster high. If you are a fan of Cupid, EAH, or you love everything light pink, she will be your doll! It is easy to remove from the packaging. The box itself is very good for display. The most notable with this doll is the attention to details. From the heart & arrow headband, painted wings, belt, skirt design, bows & arrows, & shoes this doll was done superbly. You might be having problems with the hair in the packaging though. Some are packaged with the hair too tucked on the sides (mine is just perfect) you can let down that gorgeous curls when you debox her. Since she was packed in a nice way, I'm keeping her in the box as it is! Kids and kids at heart will enjoy this doll in their collection!

I ordered this doll for my collection, and to tell the truth, her detail and color exceed most of the other dolls. As said in many of the other comments, she is quite flexible and when I compared her articulation to a Briar Beauty doll, she was far easier to pose. Cupid has some very cute details that are hard to see in the picture, so I will pinpoint them: a twisted arrow ring, black heart earrings, a small pink fluffy keychain on her bow, and a feathered bracelet. Overall I highly recommend this doll to anyone who is considering because judging from her popularity the price is going to soar.

She's super cute! Even cuter than expected. She has lots of little great details like the bow & arrow & her wings. My daughter is 10 & collects these dolls. And she loved this one more in person than when she saw it online. And overall these dolls seem to be a quality doll with fun unique details. I personally think they're more fun & happy than the monster high dolls. ;) (which my daughter thought were too scary).

Magnifique ever after, ideal pour jouer ou pour décorer. Ma fille l'adore comme toutes les ever after d'ailleurs.

As with all he dolls in this range, they are well made and incredibly detailed. My daughters collect these on birthdays and Christmas. We have quite a few of these now, and have yet to be disappointed. They come in a beautiful storybook packaging. The accessories are all remove able and useable with other characters. The hair can be re styled too. They are fully poseable, and come with display stands. They are unlike any other doll on the market, down to the pure quality and the exciting back story that comes with each doll. Amazon regularly have price drops on these dolls, so that's when I buy!

I was expecting the cheap rerelease but instead i got the original im amazed at her detail. This order is really a hit or miss if your willing to spend $30+ for one of the Cupids

Ho acquistato questa bambola di C.A. Cupid a metà novembre del 2014 come regalo di Natale per mia figlia, ed è stato uno dei regali più azzeccati di sempre. ​All'epoca la serie Ever After High era amatissima e questo personaggio in particolare era davvero molto cercato. La qualità della bambola della Mattel salta subito all'occhio: i dettagli delle ali scure, i capelli rosa acceso e tutti gli accessori come l'arco e la faretra sono fatti benissimo e curati nei minimi particolari. ​Essendo completamente snodabile, mia figlia ci ha giocato tantissimo, inventando mille storie. L'unica accortezza, come per tutti i giochi di questo tipo, è stare attenti ai pezzi più piccoli (come le scarpe o le frecce) che rischiano di perdersi facilmente sotto i mobili. ​A distanza di anni posso dire che è stato un acquisto eccellente. È un bellissimo ricordo di quel Natale e, per gli appassionati del genere, queste prime versioni rimangono dei veri e propri piccoli gioielli da collezione. Consigliatissima se si cerca un pezzo iconico di quegli anni!
