What a heart wrenching story. It was funny in some parts, and sad in others. A story of true love ❤️, heartbreak 💔 and happiness 😊. Ella was a single mom of twins. Her brother in the military. She lost her Grandparents and her parents and now her brother. She needs help with dealing with everything happening in her life. So here is Beckett, her brother asked him to go help her cause he is gone and she has no one and he wants his best friend to help take care of her and the kids. Being a mom myself and having raised 4 kids, I don't think I would make it through all the stuff Ella has to deal with. Great book and if you feel all the feels you sure will need come tissue for this book.

I think this is the best written book I’ve ever read, and I’ve been a reader my whole life! Amazing story! Truly heartbreaking, but also inspiring!

You will be wrecked too - in such a good way. Great characters, longing for a trip back to Colorado, and emotionally drained.

I cried a lot reading this book. As tragic as this story was, it ended with hope. A mist read if you like feeling emotions!!

Heartbreaking Romance Ryan and Beckett were in special ops in a war zone. They were the best of friends. After the death of Ryan he left a goodbye letter for Beckett, who had been corresponding with Ryan’s sister Ella, that requested Beckett to go help his sister. ELL was dealing with a lot. As a single mother of twins and one fighting for their life due to cancer. She was heartbroken over the loss of her brother and the thought of Chaos being dead, who was actually Beckett. Over time Beckett and Ella fell in love. Beckett was able to help Ella with medical expenses with Massie but Ella did not know that Beckett was actually Chaos. After several traumatic events that will break your heart so you think there is a happy ending. You will have to read to find out. This book broke me. It was real and heartbreaking. The writing was phenomenal and a page turner. This has to be the one the best books I have read in 2025. This book crushed me and put me back together so many times, it was insane. I loved it, the plot twists, the tears, the smiles, everything. It's worth reading, just grab tissues.
