Great quality and works fast
This niacinamide powder is excellent and very pure. It dissolves well, has no bad smell, and works quickly when added to my skincare mix. I’ve noticed smoother skin and less irritation after just a few uses. The quality is consistent, the price is good, and a small amount goes a long way. I’m very satisfied with this product.

Excellent vendor of high quality bulk supplements
Very clean and works well - mix 1/2 tsp with fav basic (nightime) moisturizer, warm washclothe to face, apply cream and enjoy rejuvination overnight. For AM, warm washclothe to face, mix ratio of 1gm ascorbic acid to 10 gm distilled water, apply liberally to face (ratio for reference, 1:10). You just made Vit-C Serum and saved a small fortune $$$. Slight sting upon application, but very effective.

Good Product & Company
I recently read how intake of B3 (as Niacianamide) can cut the incidence of common skin cancers by a third. As well, it seems that topical application of Niacianamide can undo sun-damage in the skin. I'm sure one could ingest this product, but I didn't buy it for that (I worry about dosage amounts), but rather, I bought this so I could add it to various lotions, shampoos, hair-conditioners, etc., to help protect and just generally help sun-damaged skin. I'm impressed with this product and company. If you buy Niacianamide as tablets, there are a lot of other ingredients (binders, etc.). This is, evidently, pure and is water-soluble, so it readily mixes with any water-based liquid, such as lotions, shampoos, etc. I recommend for anyone interested in making home-made (and thus, purer and cheaper) skin products that evidently have a beneficial effect on sun-damaged skin. I like that it's not expensive, and you get a lot when you buy it in bulk. I like also that it comes in a no-nonsense convenient re-closable foil packet, so it's easy to use, easy to close, put-away, and store.

Awesome to use in face products!
I love this stuff for what it does to my skin! I use it topically in my face products. I mix it in toners and lotions (sometimes even my spf). Topical niacinamide has been proven to be a somewhat effective anti-aging/acne treatment in numerous studies (so have vitamin c and green tea). I like it because i have sensitive skin but I find it calming and it definitely fades skin discoloration over time. I also feel like it makes my skin *behave* better (stays better moisturized but not greasy), if that makes any sense. I know products from Olay and Cerave (to name a few) contain niacinamide but they break me out so I can't use them. Most studies used it at a 5% concentration (so 1 to 20 ratio *thank you Viking Fan) and it works best at a PH of 5-6 (so don't bother mixing it with AHA or BHA). You don't have to mix it with anything special; you can just mix it with water and use it as a toner (if you don't use a preservative you should make it every day lest it go bad on you). Keep in mind, if you go any higher than 5% you may get a flushing effect--in fact you might get a flushing effect even at 5% if you're sensitive to it (some people are and while some people eventually grow more tolerant some people just can't use niacinamide without a bad reaction). Lots of people like to mix it with with N-Acetyl Glucosamine Powder (25 gm) Reduces hyperpigmentation Improves skin tone . To give you some ideas of how to use it, this has always been a popular recipe on Makeupalley dot com: "* 85 ml distilled witch hazel (Boots brand right now, which contains approximately 14% alcohol, as such, no preservative is required) * 10 ml vegetable glycerin * 5 g (approximately 1.5 teaspoons for those who don't/won't weigh it out - I prefer to weight it) niacinamide powder."--(i think it's "JoshuaP's" recipe) This is another amazon reviewer's recipe ("Gattu"): 5 tsp. rose water 10 drops of licorice extract ½ tsp. Glucosamine (5%) --BulkSupplements ½ tsp. Niacinamide (5%) --Nature and Nurture ½ tsp. Glycerin ½ tsp aloe gel ( I almost took 1 tsp) 2 tsp vitamin C ester powder (20%) --BulkSupplements Of course you can also just mix it with water and spray or pat on your face... Sometimes i've mixed it with other products and toners (like Thayer's Witch Hazel). Sometimes i've even just scooped a bit out and mixed it with the daily squirt of my face lotion or SPF (very unscientific, of me). This stuff dissolves really well, so its really versatile.

Awesome product for DIY serum
I had heard great things about Niacinamide from youtube gurus about how it helps lighten dark spots and brighten up your skin. So I ordered this product from Bulk supplements and now that its been more than a month of me using it in my DIY serum, I can definitely say this is working as per my expectations or i would say maybe more. But it could be also because of the combination of other ingredients(also from Bulksupplements) in the serum that I add in the serum which might be making it work even more. Here's my DIY recipe for "Vit-C + Niacinamide+N-Acetyl Glucosamine Serum": 5 tsp. rose water 10 drops of licorice extract ½ tsp. Glucosamine (5%) --BulkSupplements ½ tsp. Niacinamide (5%) --Nature and Nurture ½ tsp. Glycerin ½ tsp aloe gel ( I almost took 1 tsp) 2 tsp vitamin C ester powder (20%) --BulkSupplements **Please do your own research before using the above recipe as I am in no way a chemist or anything. I came up with this recipe by researching online as there are tons of DIY niacinamide recipes posted and this is what suits my needs. With this above combination, I was able to see instant brightness on my face within a week which was otherwise very dull looking all the time with dark spots left behind from acne. FYI - I have Asian-Indian medium-olive skin with acne spots and some clogged pores. After a month of using this serum my skin feels smoother day by day and not to mention the scars that are fading dramatically. Also I do notice my pore size getting smaller as well and even my husband commented on my skin improvement which let me tell u says a lot since he never notices anything. I am very very very happy with the results and i will definitely be buying my supplies once I run out of it from bulksupplements as I know for sure their products are in pure form and they WORK.

Botox in a bottle - best mistake ever
I originally bought niacinamide as I've been reading about nicotinamide riboside and its potential anti-aging effects, and I wanted to complement Niagen with vitamin B3 as another NAD precursor. As I did the research, I've read somewhere that niacinamide may be a better precursor to NAD than nicotinic acid (vitamin B3 comes in two forms: nicotinic acid and niacinamide). So I ordered this powder, only to read that niacinamide can actually suppress sirtuins, which is not what you'd want. So nicotinic acid form of vit. B3 would be the way to go after all, even though it may cause a flush effect. So I thought, well, I've already opened this bag of niacinamide; what will I do with this now? Throw away? So I did some research and apparently niacinamide has a great effect on your skin, rendering both a Botox-like effect and mitigating acne. I've been acne-prone my whole life, and it does help with that. It also smooths your skin, it's UNBELIEVABLE. Apparently it's part of some anti-aging products as well. What I do: mix some spoonfuls of niacinamide with distilled water (I slightly heat up the water in the microwave first). I don't know what percent solution that is, I try to add a lot. I put it on my skin. If you do it a few times, it will result in your skin feeling hot and opening your pores. Then I use the calcium bentonite clay (Aztec Secrets) in this manner: put some niacinamide solution on a saucer, dip your finger, dip your finger in the bentonite clay; put it on your face as if it was liquid makeup. If you put too much, just use some more niacinamide solution to even it out and spread it out. It looks GREAT if used in the proper amount (you may need to experiment) and treats acne wonderfully (as we speak, I have nothing on my face!). That's the nighttime routine; during the day I do the same, but use a vitamin C/DMAE solution. I've read YOU SHOULDN'T MIX VITAMIN C AND NIACINAMIDE as these two can create a compound rendering the water solution useless, or create hydrogen peroxide on your skin in the presence of UV light and oxygen. I'm not a chemist, but after I've read some articles, I separate these. DMAE powder I use I purchased from Bulk Supplements as well, top notch both to boost your mental clarity and to rejuvenate your skin. All in all, best mistake ever. Bulk Supplements is a company I trust, I've purchased several products, from Gingko powder (SUPERB!) to taurine. I hope they keep expanding their offer. Pterostilbene and nicotinamide riboside would be nice, for instance, even though I imagine the latter request might be far-fetched. I checked Bulk Supplements website, they don't have it :). I tried to purchase Pterostilbene in bulk on ebay; it's available, but I was scared to just buy some powder from a seller I don't trust. Quality astaxanthin would be nice as well, Bulk Supplements.
