Yes, the paper is a bit thin but, not terribly so. Yes, there is some bleed through from the other side but, it’s minimal because of the line matching. No, there are no maps or concordance in the back matter. These would all be show stoppers for a more expensive investment but, for ten bucks you won’t do better! For the price you get a serviceable copy of God’s word in the ESV translation that includes the 2025 updated text. Which is why I purchased it. I want to thank both Crossway and desertcart for making this book available at such an affordable price! I will make daily use of it until the ESV Study Bible is released that I would prefer. You're not going to be able to highlight or likely take notes on the pages without bleeding through. It's a bit of rubbing two together it a bit of pulling down with the finger tip rather than simply turning the page like a regular book. Again, that's how my Bibles always have been. I really like it. Lies flat, not cheap glued binding. Very satisfied.

Decent and Portable
Like what others said in their review, the pages are thin and a little translucent. But I think it's readable and decent. Because the pages are thin, it's a complete Bible but not too heavy. It has hardcover which is good protection. Plus, I got it around $8 per Bible, I think it's decent quality for this price

While it can be a bit challenging to comprehend immediately due to its more formal language if you need a Bible that ensures 100% accuracy, improved readability and a direct translation, this is a must-have. Overall, the look of this Bible is very professional and formal, with a luxurious feel, highlighted by the gold font.
