A Concise Introduction to Logic

I love this textbook! It simplifies logic and makes it fun! Although I've only had it for a month, I am already noticing changes in my thinking. It is more systematic and organized -- but it is still a work in progress (naturally).There is a summary at the end of every chapter and formulas are in the back of the textbook. Hurley and Watson do a great job of conveying information in a way that's simple, concise, and interesting.

I took an online Logic and Reasoning class this semester. This was our required textbook. It came with the code to access the online content. The two paired together made for easy reading with high retention of concepts. A great text that I'd recommend using along with the online content.

I purchased this for one of my classes. It came loose leaf and I took it to my bookstore and got it bound for .50. We only used 2 chapters but it was the cheapest option and served it purpose!

Upon first receiving this text book, There was blue highlighter on the pages on the top right side of the book, and it was a little rough around the edges.I didn't mind that really though, because it doesn't interfere with the function of the book.The high lighter was only on the outside of the book not on the inside of the pages.However upon opening the book the pages were very loosely bound and not a binded tightly inside coming apart from the core, and a page was slightly ripped.-These things do interfere with the function of the book, i.e. being able to turn the pages normally and reading it.This was not an ideal book to use for school, having to be extremely careful to make sure it stays together on top of learning the material has been very distracting.Being that this is a quick summer course, I do not have time to send it in for another one and keep up with the class, and all of the content is in it, so this is the one I'm stuck with.I wonder how often this happens and how many people have rented this book.I hope you do not do this to more students, there's only so many times you can turn a profit on a rental, when the book is past its expiration date please do not continue to rent it!!!

This is a textbook for a college class. When i received it and opened it, I found that pages 3-6 have been torn out of it. I just got the book so I don't know for sure, but it appears the rest of the pages are there

If your plan is to buy the hardcover book at receive access to the online supplemental resources, do not buy from StudentBargains3. In fact do not buy from them at all. The Amazon description of this product states that it includes the supplemental resources (MindTap). However, my book did not come with any way to access them. When I messaged the seller, I was told that the online materials were not included, even though the Amazon description states that the book comes with access to MindTap. If you want a product that matches the description it is listed under on Amazon, do not buy this book from StudentBargains3.
