Poldark: The Complete Fourth Season Masterpiece

I love this series! This fourth season is filled with change and sadness, but joy as well. I'm surprised that PBS edits out so many scenes when it's shown on American television. I'm very glad to purchase the series in order to see the complete story rather than an edited version. Who wants less of Ross and Demelza or any other part of this fabulous story?! I can't wait for series 5 which I've read is to be the last of the series. It is beautifully filmed with excellent acting and a story that I love to watch over and over again.

I am completely obsessed with this show and it's characters and have been since Season 1 first aired. Ross and Demelza Poldark are my favorite characters and the two actors who portray them, Aidan Turner and Eleanor Tomlinson, have incredible chemistry! This type of chemistry is often lacking but they have it and it feels real to viewers and thus makes the story more believable. Serious acting chops can be said for all the characters of this highly rated series and it's easy to fall in love with all of them!While Season 1 will always be my favorite, Season 4 is next on my list with loads of drama and plenty of romance! I highly recommend this BlueRay dvd for it's high quality and because it's the UK edition, which includes more scenes (many important tie together scenes) then what is being broadcast on PBS. While I donate to PBS and feel it's important to support the channel, I am disappointed they cut so much of the story out.

One of the few series I can watch several times without boredom. Actors are all wonderful and the background music and scenery can't be beat. Have liked it enough to buy the books and working on them. This series is so professional and superior to anything on TV. Right up there if not exceeding Downton Abby. (I didn't buy Downton but did by Poldark)

I enjoyed the original Poldark series as did my parents. We all watched it when it aired in the late 60s or early 70s. The remake of the series is just as entertaining. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was sorry that it ended after only five series. The season 4 set (I have the BlueRay) is wonderful. I actually have all five seasons. When I get in a Poldark mood, I can always watch it. The cast for this series remake is outstanding. It is just as strong as the cast in the original series. It is fun seeing Robin Ellis, Poldark in the original series, having a recurring role in the remake series. If you are a fan of the show, purchasing Season 4 of Poldark is well worth the investment.

Season 4 for was sooooo good! There are a lot of things going on and ALOT of sadness!I'm so in love with these characters and I'm very sad that Season 5 will be the final season =(Mel 🖤🐶🐺🐾

I have followed this series from the beginning, adding each season to my library. The character development is excellent, and the research in to what is correct for the period in terms of speech, stage sets, clothing, etc is excellent. Usually you can spot all sorts of Hollywood-esque liberties taken, but not so in this series. I especially enjoy seeing the clothing fashions and interiors progress through the fashions and styles of each time period as the story progresses.

This is a great series set in Cornwall, mostly filed in studio and Jamestown in Cornwall. I foundmyself on set at one point for the past series. I love this series.

Like all good series, by the time you get to a 4th or 5th season one begins to tire a bit of the conflicts that are never resolved. Still an entertaining dvd though.

Poldark is a great favourite. This series is excellent.

Excelente adaptación, muy bien situada y ambientada a finales del siglo XVII. Las actuaciones merecen la pena.
