A great tool for plastic modelers
This is an excellent tool for removing molded surface details on plastic model kits. Its sharp tip easily slices through typical styrene parts found in plastic kits, and the smooth beveled face allows you to carve off surface details without marring the surrounding surface, resulting in a small, level surface that needs only minimal sanding to finish it. Well worth the price - far superior to typical Xacto chisel blades available in the U.S.

Has worked great
I have bigger hands but their v tools fit well in them. Quality is very good and the edge out of the box was sharp. Seems to be holding an edge fairly well, only used on basswood so far though. Comes with a protective silicone cap which was a nice value add. Definitely will buy more.

Well made tool.
I like the Power Grip handle. I can get a good grip on the little chisel, whether I'm using it in a forward grip, a reverse grip, or a pencil grip. The blade is a single thickness piece of metal about 1.2mm thick, folded to form a "V" shape.

Good hand feel and sharp
Great for wood carving and designs on wood. Very easy to hold, with the suggestion of a cut resistent glove on hand holding the wood.

Good Gouge Tool for Beginner Wood Carver.....
Great price ,shipped fast, and it did a good job on piece I was carving. When I got the gouge I did Strop it with compound on strop and in doing so gave it the edge needed to get the job done .I certainly would recommend this gouge to other woodcarvers and wood workers. Great price ,good product !!!!!

Mikisyo chisels are some of the best for the beginner and for their cost.
As a novice in this world of wood carving I just didnโt know where to begin. I bought so many books and researched online. So without breaking the bank I ordered a few different chisels to try out. Hands down the Mikisyo chisels are by far the best chisels for carving and wood project you wish to take on. The blades are of great quality and they hold their edge for a good amount of time.

Great ergo tool
Love the feel of this tool. Handle could be a little larger diameter, but the tool cuts great and provides good control

Good for the price
Decent little V gouge, pretty sharp from the factory. Handle fits my medium large hands OK, wouldn't hurt to be a little more hand filling, but should fit people with smaller hands just fine. Mine came with a soft plastic tip guard, good touch. Gouge is 1/8" X 1/8" or 3mm X 3mm if you prefer metric, good for fine detail. So far no real complaints. I'd give it a 4 star if the handle was a little bigger as it is I'll rate it 3 and a half stars. Gabby
