Can you turn off the music for quite places, like church or the library?

Great question, Sheryl! My First Touch Lights has the option for silent mode, which still allows your little artist to create without music playing. We hope this helps!

Can you plug head phones into it?

Thanks for your question! The My First Mess-Free Touchlights does not have a headphone jack. For further assistance, please contact us at Crayola.com/support. Have a colorful day!

does this take batteries? and if so what kind and how many?

Thanks for your question. The Musical Doodle Board requires 3 AA batteries.

What is inside this product? It started leaking and is now all over my ottoman and not coming out.

Not sure, try vinegar and baking soda though!
