Great quality.
Love these! Carhart suspenders are top quality all the way around. Easy to adjust, the clips grab on strongly yet easy to release, and I got the wider straps. These keep my pants up and no more having to hike them up every 2 minutes of walking and no need for that over-tightened belt to try to keep them up. I wear them under my shirt and no one can tell. I am 6’4”, 240lbs. These seem like they will last a long time, sorry I waited so long to get a pair.

Good, heavy duty suspenders
This is a nice, sturdy pair of suspenders…hubby needs them because of his lack of curves. He’s been wearing these with a belt also. Will someone tell him it’s not necessary? Lol

Yup, I’m suspenders years old LOL
As an older, heavy-set man I find belts to be very uncomfortable when worn all day cinched tight enough to keep my pants up just under my belly when standing and walking. I actually bought these a while back but just now starting wearing them. A recent job change has me up and walking a lot so I thought I would see if wearing suspenders provided a better all-day comfort than a tight belt. Man, do they ever! The fasteners attach securely to my pants and allow me to comfortably walk around all day without constantly hiking up my pants and having sore hips from a over tightened belt! I can’t lie. I hide the suspenders under a fleece jacket so no one is the wiser but the comfort is a huge relief. My only complaint is when a fastener on the back gets knocked loose when trying to slide into a restaurant booth or a vehicle. It’s not easy for me to reach to re-clamp the fastener but I’ve learned to be more careful and no longer pop them open accidentally. The wide width of the straps provide all-day comfort and really good support. If you’re an old fat guy like me and you are wondering if suspenders are a good option I’d definitely encourage you to give them a try. They are well-made and feel like they will last a long time just like other excellent Carhart products.

These are heavy duty well made suspenders that work great and are super easy to attach, adjust, and remove. They are comfortable to wear and seem to be durable .

The clasps hold well if undisturbed but will easily release at the slightest provocation.
These probably would have lasted a lifetime if I hadn't used them for work. My job requires me to work in confined areas: the claps for these suspenders were constantly getting caught on whatever I happened to be trying to squeeze through or maneuver around. This almost always caused one or more clasps to release. This occurred frequently. Unfortunately, the last time this occurred one clasp didn't just open, it disengaged from the strap and fell off. By the time I had a moment to reattach the clasp to my pants the clasp was long gone. Rendering a perfectly good pair of suspenders completely useless. I replaced these suspenders with a cheaper (and far less comfortable) brand with "snap hooks" instead of clasps. However, the Carhartt brand is still my first choice outside the work environment.

Wear them inside out
I like the appearance and material. The clips would not stay on my pants. If I was transitioning to sitting down or standing up and something touched anywhere near the release, it would pop off my pants.I turned them inside out so that the release would not get bumped easily anymore. They have not came off a single time since. When I lay my clothes out for work I attach them inside out prior to putting on the pants to make it more manageable.I did 3 stars because even though I like the product, I have to wear it incorrectly for it to function as intended.
