One of the Best Batteries Money Can Buy
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about this battery. Let me give you a rough explanation of my usage and 5 star rating. I'm an event and wedding videographer, where I am constantly on the move and rarely near a power source for very long. Every second of my 10-14 hour days is spent with my camera on the move, so battery longevity and reliability are absolutely paramount. When shooting weddings, I use a DJI Ronin M mounted upside down on a Jockey 5th Axis Stabilizer, with a Sony A7r2, a SmallHD 701 lite monitor, a D-tap powered video light, and a Zoom H5n recorder. For the A7r2 I use a dummy battery converter to convert it to D-tap and I use a Canon lp-e6 converter to convert the Small HD 701 lite to use d-tap power as well. I then have this MAXOAK battery on a v-mount to d-tap plate mounted to the jockey arm, with a d-tap port splitter (converts one d-tap port to 4) so that all of my d-tap equipment plugs into this one battery. This means much of my equipment (camera, monitor, light) is powered from this MAXOAK battery alone. This is a godsend because I now have 2 batteries to keep up with (Ronin M battery and the MAXOAK), instead of about 5 and when I change out the one MAXOAK battery, it changes out the battery for all attached equipment. Almost zero downtime. This past weekend I shot a wedding from 8am (to get brides arrival, getting ready, daily events, etc) to when they left the reception at around 1045pm. ONE single MAXOAK battery lasted me from 8am until around 7pm (11 hours) powering the light, camera, and monitor at 100% brightness all day. When I unplugged the first MAXOAK battery, it still had one green light left, so it was around 20%. Based on the percentage decrease per hour, I could have likely finished a 14 hour filming session over the course of a whole day on a single battery pack with all of my primary equipment pulling from the battery for power. This is on a MAXOAK battery that I bought about 2 years ago, so almost zero battery cell degradation has occurred. That is excellent. With the v-mount quick release, changing a battery can be done in about 2-4 seconds so downtime isn't an issue at all. I've been very impressed with this battery in the time I've spent with it. The above recent example was using a MAXOAK battery that I bought about 2 years ago, so it has held its energy capacity like a champ through quite a few recharges. I have now bought 4 of these batteries for my other cameras (attaching these to tripods to power cameras for a very long duration is great when I'm solo filming a wedding ceremony with 4 cameras at different locations) and I have not ever had a single hiccup from any of them. Power delivery is constant and reliable, they also never get warm. IMPORTANT- Do keep in mind however that the d-tap port on the battery itself does NOT supply power. It is for charging ONLY. To connect d-tap devices to this battery you need a v-mount plate with a d-tap out connection. In purchasing a v-mount plate, don't spend less than ~$125, as the locking mechanism on most of the cheaper ones is plastic with a weak spring and the loose connection will cause the power to cut out with even slight movement. That's not good when it happens in the middle of a crucial scene and you lose footage. Get a good v-mount plate, as this battery is only as good as the plate it's mounted to. I can't imagine many projects requiring more than 1-2 of these batteries unless it's a multi-day project with no access to a power source to charge. These batteries are excellent value and provide a TON of power for a very cheap price. When paired with a good v-mount plate, these are some of the best batteries that you can buy for powering d-tap equipment. Highly HIGHLY recommended.

Great Battery, Great Price.
I have been looking for a good Vmount solution to my current camera setup; this unit has worked perfectly. I run a rig with a Canon body, monitor, and Lavs. Everything operates from the Dtap connector on the battery (And on my Vmount Plate). I was very impressed with the price for amount of Wh...And the unit has performed very well. I charged it up overnight, and shot with it most of the next day, it literally lasted the entire shoot, it was a dream not having to really worry about batteries, it lasted much longer than I ever expected. Again, I was powering a body, 5inch monitor, and a Dual Lav Receiver. I also really liked it's size, as I was able to ditch the back-weight on my rig, and it didn't really add much weight at all. If you are looking for a well built and great priced Vmount battery, this is a great purchase. I will definitely purchase a 2nd battery when the need arrises.

Overall good batteries; sound customer service
Update: After initially being told that the warranty had expired, the company did agree to send me a new replacement battery. The replacement battery is the exact same and so far seems to be working as expected. Updated review to 4 stars thanks to the customer service of Maxoak. I purchased two of these batteries in February of 2018. To date, these batteries have worked fine with no major complaints or issues to report - until yesterday. With a big wedding I will be filming next week, naturally I wanted to make sure all my gear was ready and in order. When I went to charge these batteries, one of the batteries charged just fine - as indicated by connecting it to my Blackmagic Ursa and by checking the 4 green LED lights on the side. Unfortunately, the second battery no longer holds a charge and the LED indicator lights no longer light up (aka 50% of the batteries I purchased no longer hold a charge after 2.5 years of only light to moderate use). Had Maxoak been able to address this quality issue I would have gladly given this product 3 or 4 stars. Unfortunately, as you can imagine that was not the case. After contacting Maxoak, I was told that they would be able to offer a 50% discount as my warranty expired 2 years after purchase and that they wanted me to let them know what I thought. Well, what I think is that a battery being marketed as for use with professional-grade cameras should also be a professional-grade battery. This here is not a professional-grade battery. A product that is found to be defective due to manufacturing should be covered in full by the manufacturer, regardless of whether that product is a mere few months outside of its warranty period. Suffice it to say, I would NOT recommend this product (or any Maxoak products) to anyone interested in a reliable and cost-effective V-mount battery.

Fantastic value
I've used this only a short while (two weekends), but because it performed flawlessly I can give this battery five stars. On the first weekend, I shot for about 3 hours using my Black Magic Cinema Camera. This battery was mounted on a plate that kept my camera at 100%. When I came home and put the battery on the charger, it was back to full in minutes. The second weekend, I used it for even longer, perhaps 5 to 6 hours, and it only took a little longer to bring the battery back to a full charge. I like the battery checker, and I love the huge capacity and light weight.

Wonderful product. There may be more heavy duty builds kit there but I’m really getting value for the cost & they last my c300mkii with Atomos shogun Inferno for 3hrs easily.
