Golden Acrylic Glazing Liquid Gloss - 8 oz Bottle

This product makes my acrylics blend like oil paints. I love the texture and the gloss of it. It will not change the color, hue or tint of your paint. I would recommend this to anyone who loves to paint with acrylics but misses the smoothness of oils. It has maximum coverage also!

This product keeps my paint moving and silky smooth. It helps me get a beautiful translucentcy and light to my paintings when I work in layers.( I paint a lot with layers of glaze.) Golden products give me the comfort of knowing I'm putting good quality products on my canvas. I have been gradually been transitioning to Golden products and haven't been disappointed yet. I do sell my paintings and I want to use products that make my job easier as well as know they will adhere to the canvas and last longer when placed there. I recommend trying it. If you are like me, I think you will like it.

This stuff works great for air brushing it all I ever use now, the tip don’t dry as fast and leaves a nice smooth coat on my models, I call it my Liquid crack I’m so hook on it lol

I think it is safe to say without the glazing medium acrylics are flat. Golden is a great quality, adds viscosity to pair layer as well as transparent hues when layering paints. It is a good value for the ever increasing cost of art supplies. I used Golden acrylics and mediums in college, professionally and to teach students technique. Yes, I’d 100% recommend this medium.

During the COVID pandemic, I started painted and came across the Art Sherpa on Youtube. She uses many different techniques in her paintings and recommended this glazing liquid. I never thought it would work this well but still gave it a shot. I was blown away when I first used it. I works wonderfully when painting with different shades of colors. The glazing liquid is being mixed with whatever color you want. When applying the mixture onto another color, these colors won't mix. Perfect if you want to avoid your colors to mix, as for example in waterscapes, when painting an ocean or lake.

I cannot live without my glazing liquid gloss. This is the only glazing liquid (Golden) that slows down the drying process of acrylic paint which dries very fast and makes it challenging for blending. But this product comes to the rescue. I use it in my skies and water and anywhere I need to blend. It is also excellent for glazing which is the initial purpose. It is so creamy and glides over the canvas or panel pulling the paint gently with the perfect blend. The only issue is it does dry slowly so get out your hair dryer unless you have the time to wait. A truly magical product by the awesome Golden brand.

I believe this is the best brand for gloss glaze. My artist friend recommended it, as did other artists I viewed online. I really like using it. And delivery was overnight.

Golden products are worth the money. I use this Satin glazing medium for mixing acrylic paint as well as glazing the painting. It gives a beautiful sheen. You can apply another layer of colour after applying it when it is dry. After applying it you can see brush marks while it is wet but once dry they disappear. One of the best product.
