I thought this combo was worth the money based on the "brilliant" and "praising" reviews it had here at Amazon. Turns out it's just another scam company. The side button in my mouse wore off within a few months. My keyboard lights up when I connect to my computer but doesn't register keystrokes. I contact customer service and I get a reply within a few days over mail asking me for my order information and what not and I thought this company was actually brilliant. Turns out that was also a part of their business model. After a week of information exchange with my order details, I was completely snubbed. I would send them a mail requesting an update, but no, I don't get any reply. The audacity of these companies worries me. Go do yourself a favor and place order from Logitech. It's worth the little extra you spend just for the service quality they provide.

I have a Cyber Power (CP) PC, and for those who know about these PCs, they come with their own branded keyboard and mouse. The CP keyboard is a bit annoying, as the name, which is front and center on it, is always lit up, even when you turn the PC off. It was something I became used to, but the keyboard itself was not very good anyways, as the keys are a bit stiff and some of the keys that were used more often than others began to wear out (the letters or numbers written on them would wear away, leaving a blank key). So, I decided to try the Magic Eagle keyboard/mouse combo, as the price seemed very reasonable, and I figured it would still be an upgrade from my existing ones. I cannot recall the vendor at the moment, but the date/time of delivery was initially delayed by a day or two, which was fine, but I still received it on the promised date, I just received it later in the evening. I felt a bit bad, as I did not receive any updates about it, so it was already getting dark and I did not have my outside light on, but I was grateful for the service and commitment they had. The keyboard works very well, it is basic, yet responsive. I have not messed with the color options yet, which seems like you can dim and brighten them by holding the "Fn" key and then pressing the "PgUp" or PgDn" keys, or you can hit the "light bulb" key (the key just looks like a light bulb and it is to the right of the Fn key to turn the lighting effect on or off. I have noticed some reviewers have said the light is a bit bright, but I like it. The keyboard is like a rainbow, going from green to blue on itself. The lights are stationary, so the green is always on the far left, followed by: yellow, orange, red, purple, then blue on the number pad. The mouse is very comfortable and responsive. When my PC recognized and "installed" them for use, the mouse sensitivity was defaulted to the max, so I had to tone it down a bit so the mouse curser would not fly across my screen all the time. The mouse center wheel and the Magic Eagle logo on the center of it are always lit purple, and the light around the back edges of it are all the colors and they cycle in a circular motion. I personally like it, but I usually operate my PC with the bedroom lights on, so if you keep the room dim, perhaps it would get annoying, but it changes in a fairly fluid motion and is not very quick, so I do not think it would bother most people. The curvature of the mouse is comfortable for me and is essentially like an arc, with indented grooves in the middle for your thumb and pinky. Aside from the usual buttons of a mouse, it has the usual gaming buttons on the thumb side (for right-handed users, as I am not sure if lefties simply suffer through having the mouse on the right side of their keyboard or if you can buy a left-handed mouse). So, I am content with the purchase and they work just fine for me and I find them comfortable as I type and use the mouse.

There are keys for almost everything you could possibly think of, and let's face it; we've all had that keyboard where you had to press function in order to do simple thing like control the volume, fast forward, rewind, pause, exit windows, open windows, etc. This keyboard has specific buttons which do not require any functions or complications in order to do these simple things. The glowing color of the keyboard is gorgeous, and I believe it can b e set to have a certain range of colors, or even perform a light show for every key you press. The designs of the keys are pretty cool, and there are even keys such as home buttons, to open up a google chrome page so you can search up that song you forgot the name of but just so happen to know a lyric or two, and even keys that are set to open file explorer, and to open your email. The keyboard stand is phenomenal. This keyboard is perfect for your ergonomical needs, and acts as a support for your wrists when typing, and the logo is so perfect. There are also lights above the keypad which light up when number lock is on, and even caps lock. This game is great for gaming, whether you play Counter-Strike, Overwatch, and Garry's mod, or even MMOs like World of Warcraft, and League of Legends. The mouse is absolutely beautiful to begin with. It cups the hand, and fits perfectly, to steadily embrace your hand. There are 4 DPI settings, and there are 4 colors. There is dark blue, bright pink, angry red, and soothing purple. The design of the mouse is also fantastic, with a cracked sort of background to it, and the design on the sides include arrows, and an abstract colorful background. There are forward and back buttons on the mouse as well as a dynamic scroll wheel which really stands out. Overall, my experience of this product has given me the thought that quality shouldn't always have to be so expensive. This brand is like a cheap and better Razer.

This keyboard is fantastic. Sounds good, feels good, although the keys are ever so slightly in different positions so it took me a couple days using it to get use to that. Could just be that the keys are actually quite high and travel a bit more than I am used to, but certainly not a negative thing at all. I did, however, take a couple stars away for the brightness...it is not very bright unless in a completely dark room. Not really bad or anything, just not as bright and as many color options as some of the more mainstream brands. BUT for 18 dollars you cannot beat this thing. It looks great and the added options of volume, skip tracks on Spotify, email shortcuts and browser shortcuts buttons (which worked immediately without any setup from me) are a great feature for such little money. Highly recommended!
