An excellent piece if kit
This router worked wonders will away as we did not receive any signal on our mobile phones, yes it could have been the networks we are on, but once we had a dedicated data SIM card we had no issues. Easy to use and link your devices. It is pricey but in this case you get what you pay for and may not suit everyone’s budget. Another bonus is it’s 5G ready as well

Works but very expensive
Hard product to review, not many comparable products on the market. Personally it's got me out of trouble not being able to have wifi installed in my house currently. It works, I'm getting very variable speeds [8 mbs to 101 mbs] even using ethernet cables and the router always showing 4G+ in an urban area with strong wifi. Still to try connecting a Poynting arial to see if that makes for a steadier connection when I get the right TS9 connectors. Main sticking point is the construction of this thing, considering its almost the same cost as an iPhone it's all plastic body makes it feel so cheap. The back which requires removing often if using the battery has an absolutely appalling design with snap on clips, can easily see those failing. Personally I just have it plugged in full time without the battery installed. So, if you need emergency wifi or you're travelling this is a good option with a data only sim card deal.

Useful display and self-contained, readily accessible operations.
I don't know if this will happen for all who purchase one of these, but when I started mine up, the language was not English. Neither did I have the opportunity to choose a preferred language on initial startup. The characters were not even ASCII!!. I trundled around the interface using trial and error until I found the language option. VERY Untidy introduction to the unit. A firmware upgrade should fix this, but alas, the latest firmware was already installed. I star deduction for that. Anyway, once the language was set, the game changed. It was a straightforward setup. It has a nice information screen and I can read SMS messages from the device screen. I can also tell the amount of devices connected. Some have reported faster speeds than other similar devices. However, this has not been my experience. It just works. I'm not sure if the touchscreen etc. warrants the going premium price. Perhaps the wifi network strength is above average. Not sure about this.

Can’t believe I’ve only just got one- absolutely brilliant.
Excellent bit of kit for a mobile office. Does exactly what it says on the box, easy to set up, and when I’m home I plug it into a Netgear extender and the whole house has internet. SIM card is £30/month for unlimited use (sold separately-I got the SIM from EE in the U.K.) ... unlimited internet whether I’m in the car, stuck in traffic so have to quickly hold that teams call and present my screen while parked in a lay-by or in a garage, if you’re in a coffee shop and you want secure ‘instant’ internet rather than than having to provide your life history to their ’free’ internet service. When I’m in the car with all four kids who want to stream or play games on their mobile devices, iPads etc. and likewise if you’re out in the countryside. On holiday if this lockdown ever lifts. The range is up to about 15m line of sight but is not strong enough for home use to get through walls etc. hence I bought Netgear’s EAX 80 Wi-fi extender to connect it to when I’m home. For mobile office and general home use this mobile router is perfect, I’m really really impressed. Battery life is also phenomenal, I’d suggest a week between charges, is what I’m currently doing and I usually have 6 devices connected through it using it all day 12/13 hours a day at least. Though I’m not sure what the spec says on battery life. I’m pretty sure the number of connections it can manage is more, I think it’s up to 20. Again, more than I have ever needed. Brilliant bit of kit not only has it created a home office where ever I am, but it’s also cut my home internet costs in half, to that regard it would have paid for itself in just a few months!

Don't waste your time and money!
Bought this thinking it would be a quick and useful Wi-Fi router. How wrong I was! Before I start my rant.... here is one thing I was impressed with: 1) My SMARTY Sim card worked immediately, without the need to re-configure any network settings. Here's why I ultimately returned it to Amazon: 1) Build quality is really bad - touchscreen is laggy and slow, not exactly what you'd expect from a £330 device. 2) Speeds are not what you'd expect - (This will obviously vary based on area) I tested this in London where I get full 5 bars of 4G+, but yet never got above 21mbps download speed. Not the kind of speed you'd expect from a flagship device. 3) The Wi-Fi range is utterly rubbish! Any device more than a couple of metres away just mysteriously drops "off the" network. 4) It does NOT support 2.4 & 5Ghz simultaneously - can only be configured as two separate Wi-Fi networks. 5) Netgear include some handy (read: 'useless') features in their app and online. They dont work! I wasn't able to update the firmware OR use the parental control feature - and that was after a week of trying! Conclusion: Don't waste your time and money, there are plenty CHEAPER & SUPERIOR options out there to consider.

I bambini erano collegati in didattica a distanza mentre noi lavoravamo in smart-working.

I work offshore where there is almost weak signal to sometimes no signal, yet the NETGEAR still is capable of getting a signal and a good one. Definitely worth the price and would definitely recommend this.
