A slow detailed thorough study of the text cover to cover and you will understand everything about engines, to the smallest detail.If you want to fully prepare to pass ASE A1 Engines exam successfully, or become a top engine repair specialist, this book will do.This text by Goodgeart Willcox Publisher is written by James E Duffy, which also is the author of Modern Automotive Technology.The later book Modern Automotive Technology 2014 is a comprehensive one, but shorter on each system discussed, but also an excellent AT textbook.I also own Today's Technician: Engine Repair and Rebuilding 5e, both Classroom and Shop Manuals, and Automotive Engines: Theory and Servicing, 9e by James D Halderman, very thorough and detailed in coverage both, which also I recommend.Their approach varies, and coverage, but these specialized automotive textbooks will help prepare you to become a top notch technician!Recommended as a textbook and reference
