Perfect Parker Refill

The only real competition to my fountain pens are my Parker rollerballs.
I'm a fountain pen user but i have to hand it to Parker.. they make a terrific rollerball refill. I love the shade of deep blue. More deep than most medium blues. It never hard starts. Good value and the writing experience in two pens is quite smooth.. Parker makes good ink, and refills. I wish I had gotten to try the old Parker blue/black before they changed the formula a few years ago, but that ink is pretty decent too.

The real thing
This is the classic Parker rollerball refill. If you liked the old ones you will like this one -- they're just the same. I like the feel of this roller ball on the paper, compared to other makes. It is smooth and slick, and never hesitates or slows me up. But the wet Parker ink smears under my hand and the cartridge runs out too fast for my frenetic writing. I bought this to use in a 30-year old Duofold pen that i was giving as a present -- the recipient loves it and has no problems with streaking or insufficient ink supply. If you already have a Parker rollerball pen, you know how it will work for you.

No longer in detention
Took me right back to secondary school. I will be honest, not a lot to say - pen ran out, bought these, pen works again. Man happy! Parker quality, smooth writing and good colour. Fitted instantly - though as the pen was from when I actually was AT school (late 80s) I did forget about the little plastic bit that pings out when you undo it! All good. Reasonable price to keep a historical item running!
