These worked just as expected. They were flat enough that the balls are not affected when it rolls over top. I’ve also seen reviews that said it didn’t come with the tin, but ours did.

Nice spots in a nice tin container.
These spots did come in a nice tin (some reviewers said they did not get a tin). The spot stuck well and lay very flat.

I like this a lot. It lays flat. Just be sure to place it properly, then press down with a perfectly flat object for a few minutes. I used an Espresso Tamper, which worked perfectly. But a cold iron would probably work well too.
