A very good catfish bait!
This is a "punch" catfish bait--meaning that you're supposed to use a stick to punch the treble hook down into the bait then pull it up--that is supposed to put a gob of bait on the hook. But in practice this procedure doesn't really work very well--you have to use a flat stick or paddle to help form the bait around the hook (or get your fingers stinky doing the job the old way). But on the plus side, this bait does seem to be very effective on channel cats; it may be the best bait of its kind that I've tried.

Recipe has changed
I bought this when I first heard about it. It worked great! Got the kids excited about fishing. People were asking: what are you using? Since then I ordered a few more times. Then it stopped working. Threw it out and ordered more. Samething. I took a good look at it and noticed that the the color was different and so was the smell. It was not mustard tanish anymore. It was more white. You can see the difference in pictures posted on this product. I believe the company changed hands and they changed the recipe. Probably cut out the cheese part and who knows what else. I will order one last time. If it's the same thing I will be asking for a refund and never buying again. Rule #1 ( Don't fix something that ain't broken )

Ok product
I have used a lot of similar baits and this one came highly recommended. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the big fuss is all about. I did just as well using packaged punch bait (same size container) that I purchased at a local store for $6. Couldn't tell a difference in this and cheaper products I can get locally.
