This is not 4ply but 3 ply. Very soft but slightly itchy to the skin of the face. I knit a scarf and according to my calculations for 2 meters of length and 56 cm of width I need about 20 pieces of 50 grams. In the photo I used 2 pieces of 50 grams. The scarf turns out heavy but very warm and has a slight animal smell, that's what I like, I'm sure it's 100% alpaca

Alpacas Treatment To Gain Wool
It looks and feels beautiful until I found out how the alpacas are treated to gain their wool and now I’m very sad that I bought 4 balls
