Bike Installation Difficult at best
Just received this yesterday. My husband installed it for me this morning with quite a bit of unnecessary difficulty. One of the two zip ties broke immediately, and we had to modify another zip tie we were fortunate enough to have on hand (not narrow enough to fit through slot). If we hadn't had one, it would have been a trip to Town. Additionally, the method of connecting the pedometer holder to the handle bars did not work well with my bike (a specialized tri-cross bike). Because my husband works a lot on our fleet of bikes (6 bikes between the two of us), he knows what he is doing. He was able to accomplish this with some modification, but it is not an easy fit for all bikes and not my bike for sure. Today, we will see how well it works now that we have completed the install.

Perfect for what I wanted
I bought this so I could simply drop in my pocket or backpack (pocket is better) to track my step count or keep track of distance while going on bike rides with my son. My only complaint is this: the sensor on the bike is very picky, it has to be VERY close (5mm) to the magnet on your spoke to get any type of reading. After figuring out that problem I haven't had any issues with this! Has a handy memory, you can look at cumulative amounts for the day, week, and month. Over all not bad. Sucker even survived being washed!!

Save your money
Sorry folks but this is not a 5 star product by any stretch of the imagination. Great concept but needs further R & D.Physical installation is just like any bike computer with the magnet sensitivity issue, so no worries there. That is the easy stuff. The programming for initial set-up is unnecessarily difficult and the quality of the buttons/ case is "Happy Meal gift" in quality which further compounding things. I'll be taking this off and putting my $15 bike computer back on for my bike commuting and just getting a simple pedometer for walking around the city.Again- great concept but simply not there yet.

I absolutely love this product
I absolutely love this product. I commute to work and around town, mostly on my bike. Great to know how long i've been riding, how far, how fast and when i get off, I just put it in my pocket. The added pedometer was the only reason I got this. Not nearly as hard to set up as some reviews had led me to possibly believe. Just a great product that I wish I had purchased sooner.-0

Too complicated.
I purchased this item as a gift for my father. There were no reviews yet, so I had to base my decision off the product description and packaging. It looked simple enough - but, when it was opened, there were pages of instructions and only 2 buttons to use for set-up. No one could quite figure it out - so it was quickly returned. I would not recommend this product.

complex, but works
Kind of hard to set up - seems to work for walks; didn't try with the bike yet.
