Good coffee
I love fresh coffee! this one tastes good, doesn't upset stomach, has nice oil on the beans, gives nice energy and doesn't taste burnt. I buy 5lb because we drink so much coffee so it's hard to find a fresher version in bulk, this was nice

Great taste and love the big bag.
I drink a lot of coffee. I also prefer to grind whole beans myself, as I believe the flavor is fresher. Since the retail prices for most coffee in stores have risen considerably, finding a lower-cost option was welcome. I found this Olde Brooklyn item while searching here and I'm happy I did. The description of this blend on the item page is "dark roast" and the beans themselves are dark on sight. But like most breakfast blends, the flavor is milder than some truly dark, stronger beans. I prefer a milder taste due to the number of cups I drink each day, and this hits my sweet spot. The beans have that great moist appearance you find when really fresh. They grind up perfectly and the flavor is smooth with a bit of sweetness and no hints of bitterness. Of course, even better is the cost. I was paying about $13 for a pound of bulk beans at a local store. Do the math - that's $65 versus $39.99 for this 5-pound bag of Olde Brooklyn. That's $25 I can use for something else and Amazon drops it off here to boot. The coffee just tastes great, too, so there's no compromises. Try it.

Best whole bean coffee for a percolator
I love the Whole Bean Breakfast Blend by Olde Brooklyn Coffee. I purchased a 5 lb sack because like most folks these days I find myself working from home and now that I am not in the office I needed a new coffee delivery system. Individual K Cups were not going to cut it in terms of quality and cost. I dug out my Pyrex glass stovetop percolator but discovered that today's ground coffees are all ground too fine, intended for use in drip machines, and too much grounds get through the holes in the percolator basket and wind up in my cup. Not a fan of gritty coffee, I searched for a whole bean coffee that I could grind more coarsely. As part of my goal to limit time out in public I turned to Amazon and here I discovered the Olde Brooklyn Coffee Whole Bean Breakfast Blend and ordered the 5 lb sack. What a find this has been....not only was this an economical way to keep my Purex perc supplied with a proper coffee, I discovered that the Olde Brooklyn Coffee Breakfast Blend is truly a superior coffee! My daily routine has been to use seven level measures of coarse ground coffee for 6 cups of water and let it perc for a good 10 minutes. The flavor is full and smooth, but never bitter, even when reheated. Throughout the morning, I will return to the kitchen and reheat the pot applying full heat until the pot starts to perc again and the flavor from the last cup [the dregs] is just as flavorful and smooth as the first cup. Discovered by happenstance, I am completely sold on Olde Brooklyn Breakfast Blend for a bonafide pot of real coffee. I will buy again, and particularly look forward to taking it camping next summer where I can make it in my metal camp percolator over the fire. FWIW I have also made this in the drip machine as well in the Keurig single cup coffee maker using an accessory basket, and this coffee tastes great when made in a drip machine. Olde Brooklyn Coffee Breakfast Blend is my coffee, it should be yours too!

Drinkable
I’ve been buying this for over a year. It’s a decent value for the money and the flavor is good. It gives me some early caffeine jitters more than other coffee so I might be mixing up my order a little bit in the future. I think I enjoyed it more when I first bought it, so not sure if the quality has changed but it’s from Brooklyn so thumbs up for that

Very good coffee
First off...i am a coffee snob... my favorite coffees hands down would be the blue Jamaican or Kona coffees.... but being that it's really expensive i savor those on my days off or special holidays. My wife amd i go through alot of coffee and we got tired of buying 1 lb BAGS all the time and on a tangent i went down a bulk coffee rabbit hole. We stumbled apon this Ole Brooklyn Coffee Company and decided to order the "Breakfast blend" and I must say I couldn't be happier with this choice. I love a good medium roast and this hit the nail on the head. It has a great buttery nutty smell and flavor I can't get enough of this coffee and at a 5 lb bag for the price you can't beat it. We are truly happy and I will probably never order another everyday coffee as long as they are consistent with thier products and dont raise the price on us like jerks.... I will still be sovoring my special treats of kona and Jamaica Blue Mountain when I can to satisfy my itch but for my daily go to this stuff cannot be beat do not hesitate to put this in your cart an order it ....you will be very happy....... okay Amazon you should make me a product reviewer because 1 i spend ALOT OF MONEY with you and as a blue collar Worker/ entrepreneur that gives honest reviews.... it's your loss if you don't.

This is good
I've tried different brands of beans and this one is top notch. Knowing the amount of water and the right grind, this coffee is excellent. Ran out one time and picked up the brand I used before, I was shocked at how way off the taste was compared to my Brooklyns was. Brooklyn is my go to, always. Good amount of oils on the roast and smoothness to satisfy your taste buds.

Good, solid coffee for a great price
It's a breakfast blend so you're not getting a super dark, bold coffee (it's more mild-medium), but so far after a couple brews I'm very impressed with the taste of these beans. There are subtle notes of nuttiness or earthiness or something else special going on (I'm a coffee drinker not professional taster) that you wouldn't expect to find in a 5 pound bag of value priced coffee. That usually comes with higher priced coffee. I'm impressed and would recommend. Nice job.

Brooklyn Pebbles
I love the taste of this coffee. After a few years of buying it, I have run into a problem that has cost me 3 coffee grinders. I now need to go buy my fourth. There have been small pebbles that are In among the beans. These break the electric grinder so that it spins but no longer will grind. I will no longer use it.
