Ankle Support Strap

I purchased these Bodyprox ankle support braces for a bad ankle that has been swelling and giving me a lot of pain, especially at night. I purchased the 2-pack so I would always have an extra brace if needed. These braces arrive nicely packaged. They come in a handy resealable bag for storage. Included is a small instruction sheet with clear photos to show you how to put on the brace. It is not completely intuitive, but once you see how it’s done it is easy to wrap the braces on. The material used for this brace is thick and sturdy. There is a large Velcro strip sewn into the end of the material to secure the wrap in place. It holds very securely. The material is somewhat stretchy, so you can adjust how tightly you want to wrap the brace for stability. As soon as I put on the ankle brace I could feel immediate pain relief. It works great to relieve pain, prevent swelling, and add stability to my ankle. The material in the braces and their build quality is medical grade. These are far better than using an ACE wrap that you might buy at the drugstore. They can be worn under a sock and with shoes. I had a problem with the Velcro fastener on one of the braces. I contacted Bodyprox by email (they provide contact information with the product), and they responded very quickly to my issue and expedited a shipment of a replacement brace. One could not ask for better customer service. If you are needing an ankle brace for either a medical issue or support for sports, these Bodyprox ankle support braces are really great. They are high quality, very affordable, and are supported by outstanding customer service. You will not be disappointed if you buy them. I twisted my foot playing pickleball and after allowing my foot some time to heal, I used this brace when I started playing again. I felt it gave me the support I needed. It wasn't too bulky and worked both over or under my sock. I feel it was important to closely follow the instructions on how to put it on to get the best support. It seemed to work even though I have a rather narrow foot. I feel it is a good brace to have on hand for those occasional injuries.

Like any flexible band, this version can't guard against a twisted ankle 100%, but it does provide some stability. I chose this for its comfort and light support as my ligaments heal from repeated twists that happen when I walk on river rock. I could wear a boot (or my hiking boots), but I traded a bit of added stability for comfort. I sometimes forget how to properly wrap it around my ankle, but eventually I figure it out. Stays in place, not itchy at all, doesn't cut off circulation or cut into my foot. Can wear on short hikes.

These are great. I have had my first set for several years now and they still look/work like new - velcro still very effective, material not at all diminished in it's capacity to fulfill it's function. Just ordered a second set to have a set that is portable, for any support needs while out & about, doing activities, etc. Velcro is still formidable. Wrapping them a la theratape - that is, varying tensions in wrapping an area, ensures comfortable support for hours. These remain the only pair I can wear all day without any kind of irritation whatsoever. They are a blessing for rest/recuperation of tired feet/ankles and offer comfort and support - fortifying strength and proper motion - during activities. Great after walking, hiking, jogging, anything...and comfy enough to wear daily/frequently. A huge help in the support, comfort & restoration category for the ankle. Excellent product. Zero complaints. (Just know that velcro will test your strength!) Update: After receiving and using this second set a few years after the first set, I have noticed that the velcro is no longer so "intense" to deal with - so that is a big plus. They are great either way, and both sets work super well. My ankles are super happy with these and they get used frequently. The velcro now on the most recent set is still strong enough to hold securely, but now you don't need to get into a WWE wrestling stance to take on the velcro task like the first set required. Still, no complaints, as they are still going strong...literally and figuratively. BTW, the siliconed side goes against your skin and keeps them from slipping or sliding. So comfortable that I often forget they are even on. Great product!

As a server and someone who suffers from a major bunion and ankle pronation, this wrap has been a God send. I have pain, serious pain, in my feet every. Single. Day. Since wearing this daily while I work, the pain is way more tolerable. It helps to keep my ankle straighter and take the weight off the inside of my foot. My foot and sock fit perfectly comfortable in my work shoes with zero issues. This was a great buy for me!

These are great for quick and comfortable light support for your arches and/or for extra support for your ankles. They can be worn with or without socks. I like them best over any of the athletic compression socks or sleeves sold at Amazon (what a selection!), or with knee-high compression socks or hose. I am elderly and wearing these "makes my legs, and especially my ankles feel younger and more confident" so I move more too.That is not bad at all!

So adjustable-this is perfect for a twisted ankle - 5 stars ! Can adjust to whatever is needed !!

Vlak voor mijn vakantie kwam ik erachter dat ik een gebroken enkel had. Helaas kon ik pas na mijn vakantie in de bergen bij het ziekenhuis terecht. Ik had 2 braces besteld deze en de uitvoering met veter. Deze zitten echt perfect geven steun en heb geen last van mijn enkel tijdens het lopen. Kans bestaat hiermee wel dat je hem te zwaar belast. Past gewoon in je schoen en irriteerd niet zoals het tape van de fysio, dat ik er na 1 dag al weer af had. Echt een aanrader.
