Trident Case AEGIS Protective for HTC ONE V - Retail Packaging - Trident Green

I am very pleased with my Trident case for the HTC One V. Seems well made... the black part is a hard plastic shell, the red parts are all silicon. This is my first smart phone, and thus my first case for one, but I don't feel any need to go see what others are like. The style is attractive, the silicon provides a sure grip, as well as good coverage of ports (mini RCA headphone, and micro-USB). The buttons remain clearly marked, and press easily. The screen protector has worked very well.Why only four stars? Two things: first, getting the case on was a little challenging because the silicone part didn't want to pull out into place at the top front (not easy to explain), but I'd guess that's necessary to get the snug fit. More importantly, there were no instructions (except a poor Ikea-style pictorial instruction) on how to apply the screen protector. You'll likely have no problem if you've had a smart phone (and used a screen protector) before, I'm guessing. And Trident *was* so kind as to provide an instructional video via a QRcode, but my phone was fresh out of the box, and I hadn't had time to figure out what QRcode scanner I wanted to download and use.Overall, a 4.5 star product, and one that I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

I had to find a case on-line for my phone because all they had was pink at RadioShack where I purchased my phone and signed up for Virgin Mobile. I am very pleased with the case- except for the slight size increase, which I should have expected. However, it does the job, silicone to give a soft cushion & hard plastic so it's a bit easier to slide into pockets, etc. However, it doesn't slide it as easily as I had hoped- I can't get my phone into my phone wallet with this case on. That is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5...great case, a little bigger than I expected. However I will keep it because it fits well, has port covers, and looks good.

Like: The combination of hard and soft for protection and grip. I've dropped it sooo many times in the last year and it still looks great. Only one small crack on a corner, when I really slammed it.Dislike: The screen protectors were terrible, so I used another brand. One corner of the soft shell is always a little puckered under the hard shell. No matter how I readjust, there's always a tiny bulge hanging out. Not bad, but could be better.The cover for the charging port had to go! It was a mess and never stayed put. I pulled it off the first week and I haven't needed it.

The case fits the htc one v great. The rubber is soft to the touch and the buttons are not hard to press. It has a small opening for the notification light which you can see from the top. The rubber is black not charcoal grey like on the photo. The hard plastic is smooth so it can come out easily from your pocket or case.I took a star of this review because the screen protector is smaller than the whole screen.like 1/2 an inch top and bottom of the screen. The screen protector has dotted lines on where you have to place it (which is around the working screen not the whole glass).

I love it! it even came with a screen protector that fit PERFECTLY!The reason i gave it 4 stars is because the headphone jack cover is hard to remove to insert your earbuds or headphones. but it is a great quality case! i would highly recommend this!

I purchased this for my teen son and was pleased that it fits the phone snugly with no gaps and is made well not flimsy like some others we have looked at. He is very active and so far it has done the job well and protected his phone. The openings are positioned properly and don't interfere with the operation or charging of the phone. I like that it has some grip to it on the sides so it doesn't just slip right out of your hand.

Great case and cute. Is it the best case ever no but it's a good case and it's cheap and in my book that's always a plus. So I would say buy it. I like my pink case:)

Bought this for my wife, she loves it! Great color, good mix of form and function. She likes that is it both sturdy and soft to the touch, protects the phone well and does not affect usage of the phone at all. Using the volume buttons and power buttons are not hindered at all, easy access to USB charging port and Headphone ports, great case. Would definitely recommend this to others.
