Damaged product
The box had a dent in it upon arrival. When I opened the packaging, the jar was cracked. With no recourse to return. So, I never tasted the product.

Great Tum Yum soup base
Exceptional Tum Yum chili paste. Nice heat and depth of flavor which rounds out Tum Yum soup.

I am SO GLAD I found this!! You do pay a pretty penny for such a small jar but I think it’s worth it because making your own costs twice as much and the labor is extensive. I’ve only used it so far to make prik pao (which was a huge hit at my house) but I think it is quite versatile. It smells horrible but that’s probably just me. The jar came tightly wrapped in bubble wrap and surrounded by packing bubbles so it was very protected during transport
