I have two light boxes, a large one for my craft room and this one for portability. The original cord was too short for me and light constantly flickered. Once I replaced the cord I had no problems.

I bought this product to use with my diamond paintings, that have some dark areas that are hard for me to see,so I have not had a chance to rate it as of yet it is very light weight. I do not know much about them, I thought you had to charge them to use them, but you have to keep them plugged in to used them, which is ok. I was lucky to have an adapter from another item, I used it with, it did not come with.

Love the adjustable lighting and you can fit a 9 x 12 paper perfectly, 3 light settings and the black pin holes protect eyes from the glare. So light wait. Turn it on and tap the power button 1 x for mid lighting and 2 x for lowest or brightest. Tap again to turn it off. No raised edges so you can use paper as large as your desk or table drawing area. I wish there was an adapter or transfer cable for it so that it could be used with my Android smart phone.

I was almost ready to return the screen because, upon turning it on, the uniformity was terrible, with the illumination quickly rolling off away from the LED strip. Then I realized that the clear protective plastic layer was causing the light to outcouple prematurely. Pulling it off gave me a nice uniformly bright illumination. (I should have known better--I once designed an optical device using these principals!!!)

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this for a gift for my girlfriend who draws and colors a lot and she appreciated it a lot. It is thin and lightweight but has a sturdy structure. It has a power button that you also use to adjust the brightness. It has three different brightness levels that you tap to change. It comes with a usb cord and needs to be plugged into a power source to use. It’s easy to use and is a great value for the price!

Great idea, but the unit is super thin and the light isn’t bright enough. I bought it for weeding vinyl and intricate card-stock.

It's inexpensive and lightweight. Does a good job of illuminating for drawing. There is a dark pixelated background which I wasn't expecting, but this doesn't interfere with function. For the price, it's perfect!

I really enjoy using this light box. No heavier or bigger than a clipboard, tape your project down at the top and you're drawing. Bright enough to show my projects through heavy watercolor paper. Very easy to use. Just take it our of the box, plug it in and you're on your way to making professional tracings of your best work.

Screen was blotchy and light is not evenly distributed. Otherwise it did what it's supposed to do. It has 3 light settings which function well. It feels flimsy (cheaply made). Paper does not grip well against the surface and the item did not come witho clamps.If you are looking for a cost effective backlit tablet I would recommend paying a few extra dollars and getting something better.
