If you work in Sterile Processing, these cards will definitely help. Not only do you know what the instrument looks like, but what it is used for and it which procedures it can be used for. This helps especially when procesure sets need to be put together

Do these cards show close-ups of tips of instruments?

With some of the harder to see tips, yes. Especially instruments that are difficult to discern from one another unless it is open. Other ones give you little tips and hints on how to differentiate them from others similar

Very much so! It helped me learn most of the ones I needed to for school and ones that my school did not teach me that we use out in the "real world"
