is this good to scrap gasket?

Heck yes! Its great for scraping gaskets. I just spent 45 minutes cleaning off gasket gunk when replacing a Toyota waterpump and this tool was perfect. This was a steel block gunked with sealant and old gasket. Really helps to have sharp blades though, I went through 8 blades in 45 minutes.

Does this use standard one-sided razor blades

Yes, this uses a single edge razor blade exactly like the small hand held scrapers use.

Would this be a good aquarium algae scraper?

Yes - I've found nothing that even comes close to working as good as this tool for removing algae from glass. Wish I'd found it years ago.

Will this screw onto the end of an extension pole?

I guess that would depend on the extension pole and what sort of clamp was mounted on the pole. But I really don't think it would work too well.
