I find I use more that recommended in order to get the scent level I want, but my nose is not sensitive. My sister-in-law has a sensitive and whenever she uses something at my house that I have washed with The Laundress laundry detergent, she ooohs and ahhhhs. I just ordered the matching laundry conditioner (use like fabric softener) so I can use less detergent and keep the scent more intense. I love this detergent. Best in front loader or HE because the scent is more obvious if not watered down by a washer that uses a lot of water... I sometimes presoak items in a basin and then put them in the wash to intensify the scent and to get out difficult stains... Expensive but worth it. I am selective about what items I wash with it because of the price: intimates, sheets, towels, blankets... The scent is off the charts wonderful.

Use for Brooklinen sheets and swimming suits
I like that the detergent is gentle on my sheets and leaves a fresh scent. My swimsuits have a chlorine smell to them after a swim. Using The Laundress gets rid that order every time.
