I was looking for a soup ladle that wasn't made of plastic and worse yet would not have to be submerged in a hot dish of food or soup. Have you ever left a plastic scoop or spoon in the pot of hot food only to have it soften to a minor melt and leave a plastic taste in the food. This ladle is metal and has a nice, but slight weight to it. And the upper part of the handle feels comfortably solid. This is a quality product and I am very happy with it.

Tired of plastic utensils that eventual chip and break. The metal ladle is non-stick, high quality and strong. The price and provides a excellent product for service. there are no sharp edges and is versatile for the kitchen. We use ours for mainly soup. Glad we eliminate plastics from our food. You will like it.

This seems like a sturdy ladle and this is supposed to be a gift but I’m not sure if it’s a warehouse issue or the seller issue but the ladle packing was poor and dirty and the ladle itself is scratched.

I was astonished to realize I was using a plastic ladle for my homemade, organic soups! 🤦🏼‍♀️ With all we have learned about microplastics entering our food and bodies, especially when heated, I don’t know how I missed this! It’s astonishingly sad to realize how much of our food is in contact with plastic (just check out your refrigerator or pantry) I can’t get all my food out of plastic but this was a simple change I could make. I am very happy with my choice, great style, good weight and balance and just the right size cup for dishing out my soup! Sending you love and light!

I bought this as a gift for my sister after looking at several options. I'm happy with my decision. The ladle is lightweight with a hollow, sealed handle. The all stainless steel construction means it's sturdy, chemical-free, durable, and low-maintenance. The dark finish is attractive and also seems durable. My sister didn't have a good ladle for deeper soup pots, and this one is long enough without being obnoxiously large.
