Rock-solid and top-notch quality!
This is a fantastic piece of gear. Rock-solid build, clean signal, and zero noise even on long cable runs. The connectors lock in perfectly and feel like pro studio quality, reliable, sturdy, and worth every dollar.

These work great. Here's some cable info
As a legal videographer, I run several mics down the table every day, and this is nice to have just two ethercon cables in my kit instead of thick XLR snakes with 1/3" thick main cable sections. My plan is to have one short ethercon cable to keep things neat on small tables, and another longer one for infrequent longer tables like boardrooms. This is less weight, less space taken up in my storage containers and looks less messy running down the table. In my use, they seem just like regular XLR snakes and pass phantom to all the mics as you'd expect/hope. I can't hear any sound differences in the audio, so don't be afraid to try them, if the cost of the boxes and cables don't scare you off. CABLE CHOICES I'VE TRIED : First of all, don't use the Toronce Seetronic 3 foot cable (B09478JC26). This didn't work with my LyxPro snake. Plus the quality control there seemed off, because the ends had different fits -- one side was normal, the other was almost impossible to get into either plug. When I did finally get it inserted, I got no audio through the snake. Already had LyxPro cables, so simple A/B testing revealed the Toronce cable just didn't work. Returned that one for the SoundTools option below. LyxPro cables - they work fine electrically, but they are stiff and more plastic than I expected. I have the blue 10 foot (B076TFPM59) and blue 30 foot (B076TG7MWQ) and both have been tested several times with my LyxPro snake. However, I'm replacing both because they retain their coiled shape when stretched out and look awful in use. I expected to love these because their XLR (B00WZQT2E2) and TRS (B071NRSM66) cables were fantastically soft and flexible and lay flat and look beautiful in use. SoundTools cables - I got the 3 foot purple (B07TCD5P6S) and it seems nice enough so far, but I haven't had a chance to test that it works right. Longer runs of that cable type would be fine, because it's soft and flexible like I wanted. Unfortunately, besides the 3 foot purple one, they only seem to have a 10 foot black cable (B07T99X1QK) available and that doesn't cover my worst-case scenario.

Amazing product
This is an amazing product. Works as stated. No need for 3-4 cables. One cable is all you need. Sound quality is great

Great XLR Breakout for Signal Extension – Quality Cable Required
The LyxPro 4-Channel XLR Breakout has been a solid solution for extending audio signals from FOH to the stage via an Ethernet cable. It’s worked well for my setup, but keep in mind that if you need both input and output on stage, you’ll need two pairs. Using a high-quality Ethernet cable is essential to avoid any signal loss—I used a custom CAT6 cable, connecting my Tonor microphone receiver’s XLR output to the LyxPro input. On the other end, I routed it out to the hybrid XLR/TRS port on my travel mixer’s first channel. Great performance overall, but quality cabling is key for best results!

They sound perfect, and are so very handy
I've purchased six of these over the last couple of months. I've used all six of the female XLR ends, and I've used only two of the male ends. In all cases I've used the version with 4 wires (fan out) instead of these stage boxes on the other end. So even though I've stockpiled 4 unused male ends, I still find these to be cost effective. I've run 150' CAT6 Shielded Twisted Pair (STP) with these with no noticeable noise or cross-talk, even when I turn up the gain on an unused channel and boost the headphone volume on my mixer. I would guess the cross-talk is at least 80dB down, and that is perfectly appropriate for all of my sound system needs. I've taken most of these apart to drill holes in the back and permanently mount them around the chancels of churches. They are well constructed inside with a good quality circuit board that connects all five connectors. To take one apart, undo the four screws on the end with the Cat6 connector and pull that end straight out so that the front panel with the 4XLRs slides out with it. Then mount the empty box and slide the connectors back in to close it up. I'm also carrying a female box end and a male fan-out end in my mobile sound system. I find it faster and much easier to run a single Cat6 cable compared to running a multi-core snake or 4 mic lines. It is very easy to carry 4 Cat6 cables of various lengths, and use the smallest one that reaches. These make my whole stage look neater.

These work great!!
I purchased 3 sets of these for our church. Reduced the number of long cable runs from 12 to 3. We now have 3 zones to our stage. Reconfiguring is greatly simplified. With shielded CAT6 Ethernet cables there is no noise and phantom power works just fine. I wish these were around when we bought all of those long XLR cables. These also could have been used instead of our 12x 4 snake. I highly recommend and, if needed, I will buy again.

Not AES 72 wiring
So far no issues. But these boxes donot follow the aes standard wiring; dropped 2 stars for non standard wiring labelled as 1 is actually Ch 3 by aes std wiring labeled as 2 is channel 1 labelled as 3 is channel 2 labelled as 4 is channel 4

Excelente producto.

Exelente producto solo recuerda que solo funciona con cable ftp con malla y conector blindado ya que por la malla se trasmite el pin 1

Recently moved audio equipment to a loft/balcony at the church and DID NOT want to run snake cables along walls and floors - Cat5 happened to be already in the walls, so this seemed the perfect solution. Instructions say to use Cat6, but since it was only a 75 foot run, we thought we'd see how it works - NO NOISE, NO CROSS TALK, WORKED PERFECTLY! You literally just plug a Cat5 into each box and you're done. We fed three instruments UP to the mixer and the monitor output back DOWN on the 4th channel.

I love these things! I buy them with and without tails, and use them everywhere to keep the stage neat, tidy, easy to set and strike. Anywhere two or more cables go gets one of these. BONUS, they simply turn around to use as sends or returns. The cables will lie nice and flat after they have been used a few times, and they seem very durable. I use one with tails at the stage box end, and without at the other end, you can mix and match them. Toss a few of these in your cable case and you'll find lots of uses for them.

Me gustaron, son de buena calidad. El único detalle es que no trabajan con phantom power.
