Mehron Makeup Barrier Spray - 1 Fl oz, Professional Makeup Setting Spray

So i just want to say whoever made this product needs their tail-hind KISSED 😙😙 this product is amazing. I’m a certified sweater that likes to have a good time. Went to a pool party in 105 degree weather sweating my tail off !! This setting spray was the truth & it was perfect to fit in any bag. You need only one spritz but I was very generous ! (2-3 spritz) Lasted from 10:30am - 3/4ish ( in video I’m at the 1pm mark after being sprayed with on the dance floor ) Pro tip: alone it worked amazing but pair it with the L’Oréal 36hr setting spray & it’s the equivalent to a bullet proof vest 😭

I have been using this for about a decade. It beats ALL OTHER setting sprays. Infact- this little bottle packs so much punch, that it can be added to a weak setting spray and it gives it pa pa pa pa pa POWER! I have TRUE HOODS(eyes) and there is no other product that helps my liner stay in place(it can be used on powder eyeshadow to turn it into liner). For us hoody babies- you know how it feels to have the hoods force the eyeliner under the eye, make you look ridden hard and put away wet when you've only been sitting. But wait...THERE'S MORE!! Hoody babies? This will make your hoods stick in place, giving you a more wide-eyed look! I was floored when it made my hoods stick in place! I am almost 40, and my 13 year old uses it as well. It takes her through outdoor gym class and volleyball and she still has flawless makeup. Going out? Oh hunty- that walk of shame is going to be done with makeup that went through the trenches!! Mehron is still a top product for a reason!!!!

Purchased this to help keep my Halloween makeup on and it worked very well. I’ve used other popular makeup setting sprays but wanted something that would work well with more theatrical makeup looks. Great price point for the amount you get and the product performance. I only used it after makeup to set and not before and my makeup lasted well over 6 hours without smudging or creasing. I even used it as a mixed medium for water based face and body paint makeup. The product does have a very strong scent so if you have sensitive skin I would advice doing a patch test. The scent is so strong it feels as though it may sting if it gets in your eye. I didn’t get a reaction to it and the smell didn’t get to me as I only used it for special looks not my everyday makeup. A con for me would be the way It sprays out. The mist is not fine and almost splatters. I don’t know if it was my bottle or if they’re al like that but definitely felt like I need to spray more of it to even coat my face. I found I had to fan it dry too.

I use this makeup spray when I’m in musicals at the local community theatre and it’s the only spray that actually prevents any makeup melting or smearing under those bright stage lights! The finish is very strong so don’t be surprised if your face feels a little stiff - the spray is doing its job! And you don’t need a lot of it to keep your makeup in place. Highly recommend and will be buying again!

5 star product lost 2 stars to spray pump. The pump sprayed a sputter or stream about a 1/3 of the way through the bottle. Head sticks at half-press now. The product itself is incredible. I prep with cream, oil, serum, wait, spray Mehron Barrier, wait, make up face, powder, spray Mehron Barrier. My routine lasts through 100 degrees, 90min on bicycle! Same day 12H later I am touching up my lips only. That level of service blushes at the all day mask-like feeling.

This product is now my go to staple, I just ordered and did a no wash + rub test to see if it would be good for Jamaica carnival and it lasted for basically 2 days. This will definitely help on the road especially when it starts to rain, wish I had this last year. Does have an astringent smell as it dries tho but after it dissipates. It’s not bad because I’m sensitive to smells and it was bearable

But this with any Mehron makeup and you will have it set and ready. Light mist that is slightly sticky at first, but keeps after sprayed.

I can’t live without it! Now I use it anytime I have an event and need my makeup to last all day !!! It really works! Makeup stays put! Even eyeshadow !

Strong smell and should not be applied near eyes and lips

Love this stuff, very effective. Sealed my makeup to a concert recently and didnt get ruined even though I was stuck in the pouring rain in the queue for hours.
