How much weight will this item can handle?

The recomend weight is now 220lbs as it should be. For all those in this thread supporting 700 to 800 lbs on this blow up chair, get real! Also seating 2 is a bit tight. 40" is tough for most adults to share, maybe kids. Dont forget, it full of air it moves and squishes a little.

Do you think it is durable enough to withstand a cat claw if my cat jumps on it or will it be immediately ruined?

I think if your cat was to jump on it and lost traction and put it's claws out it may put a hole in it. But just in general I think it would be ok.

How do you know if your inflating it too much i had an air bed and eventually it just would not keep air so i had to throw it away was very upsetting

I just inflated it until I was comfortable, but the inflatable lounge valve eventually broke and started losing air so we tossed it too

I have a 3 in one electric pump, will this work with this item?

Do you mean a pump with 3 nozzles. Small, medium and large?If yes then you will be fine. That is what I use. You need the large one for sure, and electric is a must. And make sure to inflate it no more then 80% of the capacity. Else your chair will start to do funny things after a while.
