An unassuming family with two daughters rents a new home for the summer, having no idea their obsessive landlord, Gerald, is broadcasting their every move online. Viewers become increasingly fixated on the two college girls. When a follower on the dark web offers to buy one of the girls, Gerald must protect what is his. Review: Under the skin creepy - I thought I was getting some sort of slasher flick but was totally wrong. This guy owns rental houses rigged with spy cams which he feeds online to select clientele. People pay him for things like panties and even the young ladies being spied upon. This means he sneaks into the houses to get what his clientele wants. Stealing panties or kidnapping the young ladies are just business to him. It is cold and impersonal, and devoid of feelings for anyone. That this is plausible is scary on its own merits. Eventually, victims fight back with the help of the creep's son who turns out to be a decent kid. I won't spoil it. This movie wasn't horror film frightening, rather, it was under the skin creepy. I still get a chill when I think about it. Acting and directing were good. I also appreciate that the director did not turn this into a peep show. That would have killed an otherwise well done movie. Review: Gerald Is Back With Even More Cameras! - If you enjoyed the first 13 Cameras, definitely check out the sequel. Really crazy movie. Neville Archambault once again steals the show! Excellent sequel. I would highly recommend to Horror fans. Hope to see 15 Cameras next! 5/5 14 Cameras is a burned on demand DVD-R too for those wondering.

Neville Archembault is the creepiest villain you will ever see
I have not seen "13 Cameras", so this "14 Cameras" is the only film in the series that I've seen (on Roku). The film is simply a full-on creepfest. The focus is on "the Slumlord", played by Neville Archembault. This guy is scary. It is difficult to believe that he is just acting (Is he acting??). Not for the squeamish. There is no blood and guts type horror here. It is all psychological torture/ no real physical harm (for the most part. I was not familiar with Neville Archembault before watching this film. Looking him up, I learned that he very recently passed away (Aug. 2022)! This is a very gut-wrenching film to watch, due to the creepiness of the main character. There seem to be plot holes: For example, why don't the renters ever notice his truck parked outside when the slumlord is creeping around inside the houses? There is no background given re: the Slumlord. He just exists. Would be better film if some background were provided. But, this is simply aiming to be a horror film, not an art film. So, if you want to be creeped out by a nasty, nasty portrayal of the worst of humanity, this is for you.
