Face Lotion

I was super skeptical at first, but wow—Carpe really works! I have oily skin and deal with face and forehead sweat, especially in warm weather or when I’m nervous, and this stuff has been a total game changer. It goes on like a lightweight gel-lotion and dries quickly without feeling heavy or sticky. I use it in the morning before makeup, and it keeps my face way more matte throughout the day. The silica microspheres really help absorb the sweat, and the jojoba esters keep my skin from feeling dried out. I’ve even used it on my scalp near my hairline, and it works great there too. Definitely worth it if you’re tired of constantly blotting or feeling shiny all the time!

So I live in Californians Central Valley where it can get very very hot and stuffy in the summer months. I’ve never been someone who sweats in my face or scalp, but a couple years ago I was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism (over active thyroid) and let me tell you this disease has changed my body! I’m always running warm and sweating from areas I never have before! That’s why I’ve been trying and finding new things I can use. I usually do ok with face primers if I’m AC environment, but sometimes at work I have days where I move a lot and organize things or move things around the office. Also I wanted something that would work for if I go out dancing or something. I kept seeing ads for this on instagram and decided to try it. It did not work for me. Not only that, I started sweating from my upper lip as soon as I put it on no matter how cool my place is. It’s very strange how it works the opposite for me. I don’t know if It’s because my skin is trying to shed it out of my pores immediately or what, but it’s so annoying. I usually apply primer and then start my makeup routine just fine. With this thing I apply it and a few seconds later, my face is sweating! If you’re like me with new sweating tendencies and oily skin/large pores, I wouldn’t recommend based on how it worked for me.

Update: after the seller read my review they stepped in and provided a full refund. A level of customer service I wasn't expecting. For that, I have changed my review from a single star to 3. This product didn't work for me, but it might work great for you. If not, they will very clearly take care of it. Unfortunately this did not work for me. My face likes to be the first place I start sweating, so I was really hoping this would help at least a little bit. All it did was make my foundation look dry and cakey, then help the sweat to wash off what makeup I did have on. Maybe it works without makeup on over it, or over and under because I was desperate to get it to work, but I'm not about to live life bare faced.

Yesterday I tested it as I went out on a hot day. Usually my short hair is saturated and no style left. Hair would just stick to my head and massive drips down my face and neck. I used the scalp serum in my hair and the face cream around the perimeters of hairline front and back. I still dripped but a lot less. Back of my hair was wet but was able to dry it off with paper towel. Which before it was useless to try and dry off as it made hair much worse and caused anxiety and more sweating. My hair style didn’t suffer from the amount of sweat yesterday. We are in the hottest days of summer and I call that a win especially since it is heat and anxiety caused and I was going to the doctor and anxious. Very few drips compared to a running river of embarrassment. Will continue if it continues to slow the flow of H2O and embarrassing moments in stores or work. Will use as primer today instead of around perimeter only. Yes some white as it dries but I just wiped it off as it dried and no problem. This is a win in my books because the anxiety part was horrendous. And I would leave stores rather than be seen as a walking waterfall.

I am never one to write reviews, but this product is amazing. I have struggled with a sweating problem my whole life. Especially on my face, I was very skeptical of this product. From the first time I used it I knew it was going to change my life. I know that sounds so cheesy, but I have always been so embarrassed of my face sweat and this product has absolutely changed that. It goes on smooth, not quite like a lotion but very similar. Once on it mattifies your face (in a good way) and when you start to sweat it soaks it up immediately. Obviously not 100% but almost! The little bit of sweat that does come through almost looks like a glow rather than sweat and it soaks it up soooo much quicker than if you were not using this product. For refrence, I have combination skin. Only downside is the tube is rather small for the price, but honestly I do not mind it too much since it works so well. I have added this to my everyday skincare routine and will 10000% be purchasing this regularly!

es hilft null, im gegenteil heute das erste mal probiert.. direkt nach dem duschen auf die trockene gereinigte haut aufgetragen und ich fing an zu schwitzen wie verrückt. ich kanns niemandem empfehlen 40 euro dafür auszugeben. und bleibe bei obadan das hilft wenigstens

This REALLY works. Used it a few times and it has performed every time even in really hot weather.

Good product as described

I got this today hoping it will assist a bit with sweating in my face. Apart from smelling a bit like wood glue, I applied it to my face as per the description and went out to buy a few things at the shop. Back in the car I was just as sweaty in my face. It is warm today so it is a good test but this is a waste of $40.

Doesn't work at all , lost of money.
