Perfect for our need. The mailbox is cemented in and the top mortar had cracked thus got a leak over time. When it rains the moisture collects along the bottom thus pooling and wetting the mail. This has made a huge difference and keeps the mail dry.

It works and is of a decent design. I don't like the sharp edges in the front so suggest that a redesign have a ramp to cover those edges. I also put two screw through it to anchor it to the mailbox and to help it keep it's shape. I like that it is easily expandable to fit different sizes of mailboxes.

I've had issues with my mail getting wet/soaked whenever there was even a little amount of rain. This solves the problem by keeping mail elevated from the bottom of the mailbox. Highly recommend.

Keeps mail off the bottom of the box and drier. Kind of overpriced, but I hate wet mail! Very sturdy material and easy to adjust size to fit the box.

2 Points. 1st this tray does not lock in place for the length, after the mail person delivers the mail it collapses to it's original size allowing for a good quarter of my mailbox still exposed to some wet spots. Second, I can't believe that the mail person didn't throw it away for me. The plastic is pretty sharp to the touch when sticking your bare hand in to grab your mail. So to me Junk.

We have a standard-shaped mailbox and had problems with mail getting wet from rain that would leak into the box. The problem seemed to be that water would get into the box and then wick up into the mail from underneath. This product mostly solves that problem. It's not a glamorous product, nor honestly is it particularly well made, but it does the job. I like that it expands in two directions to fit most mailboxes. The problem is that when it is put under tension it doesn't necessarily remain flat; ours tends to bow itself into a shallow U shape within the mailbox. It's not the end of the world, but it is a little annoying. It does, however, keep the mail a lot dryer than before.

The instructions for this gadget suggest sizing the product to your mailbox and then gluing it to the proper size. Not doing so will lead it to slowly sliding together to a smaller size. I didn't really want to glue mine in case I replace my mailbox with one of a different size, so managed to secure it using a small, short bolt with a nut. With all that done, it is quite effective at helping keep mail dry on rainy days.
