The boo does not come with the set. There is a picture of a boo on the box, but it is just part of the packaging graphics.

Do the characters stand up well/pose well? People are saying they don't and fall over.

Dry bones is the only character that falls over. All of the others stand perfectly fine on their own.

are these meant to go inside of a fish tank?

No it's not for a fish tank. The coins it comes with are cardboard glued to the box and the tunnel barely clicks open without being submerged under water.

I want to put these in an aquarium. Do you think it will hold up?

No, they are plastic, and I think they will all float to the top.

My son loved it

Bought this for my son, he seems to love it. Took it to anyone’s house he could, took a bath with it and it’s kept him occupied. Though the downside is he wants more to go with the set, lol. The fire spin thing I can imagine he will break sooner than any other toy but most kids can lots of parts that can be broken off, not a downside but definitely follow the recommended age on the box to avoid choking. If your child likes Mario they will love this.
