I gave it 4 stars because I had to go online to find how to replace the parts. Had this product supplied a resource for how to replace tis parts, I would have given it 5 stars. I lost time trying to find the right video. Other than that, it was perfect! Highly recommend. Fortunately, I have only had to repair it once. But have the supplies if I need to do it again. The y tip screwdriver that came with the package stripped two of my joycon screws, forcing me to drill through them and ruining my joycons. Additionally, once installed the control stick did not allow me to sprint in games moving in the up direction, and then broke with much less force than I've ever exerted on my initial control sticks.

One worked really good another one didn’t work at all

Neither analog stick worked properly. One is doa. The other responds slowly on the horizontal axis. On the plus side the tools are good enough for the job. You will need a long tweezers to deal with the ribbon cables.

Pros: Kit came with everything needed, and the replacement was done in under 5 minutes. I also loved the included colorful grips to put over the existing thumb stick grips. Cons: the tri-wing screwdriver was of incredibly poor quality, and broke almost immediately.

Way cheaper than actually replacing the joy-cons, and helped show my son the value of repair vs. replace. The repaired joycon works like new.

The tri/Y tipped screw driver would've stripped the joycon screws had I used it for more than a few tries, and the plastic case popper's tip basically disintegrated upon first use. Remedy: Placed an order with a separate company.

Bought this to replace one of the analogs on my switch and neither of the new analog sticks worked. I ended up putting the original back in because some drift was better than having no working analog stick at all.
