Works great for linksys
I had two media converters that just would not cooperate. I finally figured out one of them was flashing failure codes. I had one of these transmitters laying around and ordered a 2nd hoping the dell switch and the linksys switch would use the same transmitters. Nope. The linksys works with these. Dells do not. I ended up using the remaining working media converter on the dell end and one of these in the linksys end at the remote office. So I have a spare for now. I have one more linksys switch that I can use the spare in. I also found a spare transmitter for dell so I have just what I need for another temp building being brought in just a few months.

plug and play
At 120 meters it rock with the companion TRENDnet 5-Port Gigabit Compact Metal Desktop Switch with SFP Slot, TEG-S51SFP. Price point per foot is quite reasonable and length pre made make the fiber within reach.Besites anything over 100 metes in cat6 is a crap shoot. Also bring your network into 2025 speeds of fiber provider with 1GB up/down.

Works perfectly with TRENDnet SPF Media converter
Works perfectly. Chosen by recommendation and it came through. Used in a corporate network to link-convert a connection for two buildings and 48 port system. I attached it in a few minutes and it was up and running from the very second it got turned on. It has now been in use for a while and is easily recommended for business use. Great job. (Used with TRENDnet SPF Media converter)

Stable GBIC and good price.
I ordered these for Cisco Meraki switches for fiber connections. Haven't had any issues whatsoever with these modules. They say you may have issues calling in for tech support with Meraki since this is a non Cisco part but will worry about that when the time comes. The price difference between this and Meraki is worth the headache I may or may not have. Installed close to 60 Cisco Meraki APs and no problems with fiber connections between building using these GBICs.

Easy to connect, works great!
I can't believe how easy it was to connect fiber optics. I am using these to connect two network switches approximately 500 feet apart. It was plug and play with no programming. Make sure your cabling, SFP module, and hardware specifications are aligned.

Cheap alternative to Cisco product
Cheap alternative to the Cisco product for their small business switches. Installed 2 connecting 2 SG300-10PP switches with a 100m OM3 LC-LC fiber with no problems. I have yet to see how it performs in terms of longevity. Edit: 1 year later and these modules have been solid. No problems whatsoever.

Great product, Works great
This product worked great. I purchased it to use with the TrendNet TFC-1000MGB and it works like a champ. No setup, just plug and play. It has been in service well over a year now, and not a single glitch. I will buy them again for sure.

Worthy, good value
Work great so far paired over several Cisco SG300 and SG200 switches. iPerf at 935 Mbps 200 meters away through a coupling over OM3 50. Very happy with this; reasonable priced without apparent compromises.
